@Meddler: Can Ahri's Q movespeed see some work?

Hello everyone (and hopefully a Red or two),

Ahri is currently one of the highest winrate midlaners in the game, despite being a skillshot-reliant mage and all. I consider Ahri one of my mains, and I find that a bit... Meh. When Ahri got her DFG compensation, this Q change was the most significant one, turning a decently strong champion into an incredibly all-around safe champion that anyone can pick and do well with (thanks to her mobility, damage and the fact that one good charm can turn the tides). Something I saw suggested way back when she was beyond OP was to gate her Q movespeed behind ulti levels.

So, here are 2 similar suggestions on what seems like an optimal way to make her less safe.

  • Q has 25% of the current movespeed bonus, increasing by 25% for each ult level.
  • Q has no movespeed attached. Each ult level adds 33% of the live value.

I feel like this adresses her insanely safe laning phase while keeping the kiting intact when it most matters: in fights and post-laning assassinations.

I'd love to hear your opinions on this. I personally cringe a little every time someone suggests Ahri as an easy midlaner.

Personally I'll rather them remove the ms and revert the nerfs on her W
