Communication is key. Dear Riot, please make more context posts.
I have been following the boards a lot, and the budding anger for the community seems like a problem to me. All around, I can see hatred for Riot (particularly the balance team), and people complaining about how Riot only cares about the money and the LCSBIGPLAYS. I would love not to believe all these things (thus I don't), and I think everyone wants to trust Riot to do the best for this game.
The one and only thing I can ask for is more context posts, alike the one for the recent jungle item adjustments, and maybe a more central discussion point for certain highly debated topics (such as Lee Sin and Zed). Seeing all those rant posts helps noone. If the community could hear more about things like the removal of Ahri's E damage amp, the future of Zed and Lee Sin and other things people keep complaining about, I think it would help the community get to a more pleasant and peaceful state. I can wholly understand that Rioters don't feel like responding to rant posts that are filled with ''Rito is dumb, cares only about the money'' and ''does the balance team even play this game, are they retarded or something''. I think context posts would help clear up some confusion. The fact that Riot doesn't seem to respond to certain topics doesn't help either, it only seems to fuel the flames.
Tl;dr: Context posts would help both Riot and the community. More communication will greatly improve the attitude towards Riot (towards certain divisions such as game balance to be precise). I think it's a win-win situation.
A nice day to everyone,
Dylan
