Ranked Games have become UNPLAYABLE!!!/ League has become boring and a hopeless game in my Opinion.

I would like to take the time to express how I and many people feel when playing league these days.

  1. Games have become either a total lose or a total win. I used to play games where we were neck to neck and the game was intense and exciting, now no longer is the case.
  2. People are taking games less seriously as they should.
  3. We need more reporting titles such as "told the team before loading that the game they were about to enter was of least importance when the rest of the team took things seriously.
  4. This is a competitive game and that is great, but it has become less of a competition when either you are destined to lose or win with flying colors.
  5. The Balance of players that you are matched with is unbalanced in the sense you win one game with amazing people on your team and then lose three other games with players who don't take the game as serious as it is. We need a change, either if one is in a ranked league and they just keep losing maybe move them to another league in the same rank and see if that improves things. All I know is that we need a change. The roles of league of legends have changed since I started playing especially Jungle. Whoever takes the role of Jungler has the most lazy role in the sense they no longer ward as much while there teem are fighting in lane, but they also have a high stress position due to so much map control needed to play that role.

why change matchmaking when you can be lvl 22 and have games like this

  1. I'd like to see more of these myself. They make me really tired, though.

  2. It's Preseason. If there's a time to be less serious, this is it. Most of the people I encounter are trying their best to win, so I feel sorry for you if your queues are apathetic or disinterested. I would advise playing in the middle of the day to early afternoon, if possible. Many people who play then don't get a lot of games, so they tend to be better about it.

  3. There's a comment section for a reason. The categories are pretty thorough, but not exhaustive. In the case you mentioned, I would report them under "Negative Attitude."

  4. This doesn't lessen the competitive nature, although it wasn't fun to watch S3 World Finals be a shutout. We are still in preseason, so hopefully any radical balancing will be leveled out and we can have more fun matches.

  5. Sometimes crap happens. A lot. I do wish I could get paired with awesome people every game (it happens more often than some would have you believe), but I do have those games where I just block and report most of my team after a loss. I see less of a "not serious" issue here and more of a rager/flamer issue.

-You don't play with the people in your division, unless you happen to end up in a match together. Your division is a meaningless title to give a sense of progression on a personal level versus being ranked #9,870,435. So this would actually do nothing.

-Roles change as the game changes, but everyone should still ward.

You're actually pretty calm, it's nice to see someone being reasonable about the whole deal.

its bad to have a lvl 22 even fight a lvl 30 (masteries adv...rune adv...more time playing and learning game, etc)

its even worse to have all but one under 30 vrs 3 lvls 30's

its even more so worse to have them play against...A diamond....

even worse to have to fight 2 diamonds

even worse to add a plat with those 2 diamonds....

but obv, mmr isnt taken into account and neither is wins....so my main question is

wtf goes into matchmaking to match you with people if it isnt wins or mmr? or rank for that matter?

seems like an honest question no?

lol you said its people exploiting the system and i said it was the system being exploitable....i guess we are both right ina way (not to say agreeing with you)

you can either A=fix the system to not be exploitable (honestly fix it so it works correctly or how it should) or B=fix the people

just gonna say theres one system, and billions of people...which u gonna fix?

1 For some of us Fun is found during the game not the "outcome" i have as much fun in games where we are steamrolling as the ones where we are being steamrolled

2 its a video game even ranked is not serious to begin what ..that causes a major amount of problems people coming into solo que and expecting others to be as ocd and serious as them.- if you want serious games form your own team and stay out of solo que.

3 riot dose not enforce meta therefore your reporting titles are irrelevant if you want to take things serious stay out of solo que

4 again if your trying to be "competitive" in solo que that's part of your problem . Stay out of solo que if it stresses you out.

5 that is not balance that is the random nature of solo que if you cant handle that STAY OUT Of SOLO que

If you play enough games you will get the rank you deserve . I put having fun first and still have no trouble getting my victorious skin ( which is the only reason to play ranked imo) there is no rewards above gold so i take it even less seriously after words. If you can carry your team properly you can prevent alot of loses just by doing that.

I like jungle but when i forget to turn off chat people seem to think we are supposed to win their lanes for them so i end up muting them. " omg i need a gank"( when i m not even level three) personally i don't tart ganking till level 6 unless i happen to be in the area and a perfect situation is there.

Jungle is nothing more than a random wildcard wandering around collecting monsters, Kills and assists .

If you want to reply with all the meta specifics jungle or any other role

SOLO QUE RANKED IS NOT THE PRO MATCHES AND IT SHOULD NEVER BE TREATED AS SUCH

I don't know why people keep complaining if you want to take ranked serious and play a meta perfect game build your own team with people who feel the same

People who try to continuously play serious in in the randomness of solo que ranked remind me of the Einstein quote
