Clarity is only ever used in ARAM, while Barrier tends to only get used by mid-laners in Classic mode. A thought crossed my mind: What if Barrier and Clarity were merged together, but altered a bit?
EXAMPLE!
Barrier Shield yourself for 2 seconds, absorbing up to X damage, and restore Y% of your maximum mana.
Would this be too powerful? Introduce usage confusion? Or could it be a novel way to make Clarity something useful?

Shields for X and removes all de-buffs. 
Cleanse is less used... Clarity is nice for an agressive mana hungry botlane..

Lazypeon1001 votesI'm all for finding a way to make clairvoyance usable again too. Though I don't think merging that with clarity will work. It would be anmoying if you just need mana that moment, and your mouse cursor wasn't somewhere where you get any benefit from the clairvoyance aspect, and vice versa if you just need vision.

What if it had unlimited range and lasted for like 8 seconds then it would be a great tool for champions with long range ults for dragon stealing.
Because I know has a set range... but its a cheap 250 item... and it places a ward

Lazypeon1001 votesI think it would become the go to pick for anyone that can viably run with heal or barrier right now, and in some cases just be the better option for anyone who would normally just use something like ignite. A good example would be urgot. This would give him a very strong all in potential with his ult. He would win the trade with barrier and his shield, while solving his mana issue.
This is a neat idea, but I think it would need an absurdly long CD? I don't know.
