Twisted Treeline Players

I have some question for all 7 of the TT players:

I've heard you can carry harder in TT is that true?

How high should I prioritize alters?

What role is the best for carrying, is a jungler a must in solo que?

What role carries hardest/weakest?

These are some of the champs I'm considering for TT Amumu Gangplank(although I'm consirned that shorter games won't give gp time to scale) Garen Illaoi Kayle MasterYi Nunu Riven Singed Udyr which one's should I pick up?

Also any other tips/good guides on youtube etc are appreciated!

Pantheon, Cho'Gath, and Poppy are some of the strongest carries. You'd play all of them jungle.

Isn't the mobility of Pantheon wasted on TT, or do the small spaces make easier to land? Same w/ Poppy's ult, and then you have the fact that cho would turn into a giant target. This looks more like a troll post.

if you ult into a bush, it doesn't show the landing indicator for the enemy team. lack of wards makes this a lot easier. his ult is also practically global on the tiny map.

all three become practically unkillable midgame and deal way too much damage to deal with. and i've been playing treeline for three years now, don't call me a fucking troll just because you don't know what you're talking about

Ok, sorry It's just that half the responses I get are normally telling me to play Janna jungle. I'll definitely pick up Pantheon, what role should I play him in? Top or jungle???

While this may be true for the most part, I still don't think it makes Pantheon one of the best.

who should I play instead

If you want you can panth viably, but over all I'd suggest illa with a few others like darius for back up if she is banned.

TT is very snowbally, probably 2x more than Summoner's Rift. Even 1 early kill can snowball into an early victory, depending on who you're playing.

Towers should always be prioritized over alters if you have time to choose between them. Altars are a win-more objective, just like Vilemaw. Always try to keep at least one on in your control though, because that buff is pretty strong.

Any of the 3 roles can carry on Twisted Treeline. It all depends on what you play best.

Bruisers (Darius/Illaoi/Olaf), tanks (Poppy/Maokai/Zac), and fighters (like Vi/Riven/Yasuo) tend to carry the hardest on TT.

Marksman has always been the weakest role on TT, but even more so with this new season. Graves and Caitlyn are probably the best marksmen on this map. The former because he's pretty much a ranged bruiser, and the latter due to her safety and utility. In general, marksmen have a very slim margin for error compared to the other classes. If you get behind as a marksman, it is very difficult to come back into the game, and sometimes you don't even have to make a mistake to get snowballed on.

Playing TT is a joke right now with all the bots

Even in ranked?

No, the bots cannot get into ranked cause the Banning system in Draft.

i haven't seen bots in almost a year

They aren't in ranked.

Only if you play Blind, but the more I've played the less you see them.

Yes you need a jungler. If you don't have one you will not be able to farm enough and will fall behind unless you get 5+ early kills. Jungler is also one of the easiest to carry with. As for champions, Poppy, Hecarim and Zac are the probably the best junglers. Illaoi dominates most champions in lane and carries team fights hard. Garen and Darius are strong. Do not play Nunu, he is not viable.

ok, is udyr viable? Or Riven. I'm not a big fan of Poopy or Sac and hecarim is just boring to me.

Altars are useful, but not super-high in priority. Jungler is more common in low-MMR; support meta becomes more common at higher MMRs.

MetaLoL, METAsrc, and The Shadow Isles all offer tier lists for you to get a rough sense of champ power. Keep in mind that champ strength may vary according to server, MMR, team comp, and so on. For instance, Kayle is apparently pick/ban in EUW, yet isn't played much in NA.

There was a recent discussion about getting started in TT over on the subreddit. If you want even more information, the 3v3 Bible goes more in-depth into various aspects of TT.

It depends what your elo is. If you are playing top jungle mid. Then Bruiser top, tanky jungle mid, and mage bot. Pick champs that dont really rely on skill shots. It's sad but its the elo in this map. Champs like karma, swain, malz, syndra, brand is good but skill shot relient. ahri is a good niche pick
