Why are you not playing
?
I didn't include rengar khazix or lee because I'm trash with them. I know vi is meta, I just didn't think she was a carry. If I added her where would she go on this list?
a good vi will carry simply by pressing R. bc thats how simple she is.
not very true at all an incompetent vi is easy to beat
That's any jungler. The champion mechanically/kitwise is very simplistic.
But an incompetent Vi will have other issues, like lacking a functioning brain stem.
You mine as well try to learn rengar, He's litterally in his own class atm above the others.
Don't believe he's getting a nerf either, but i may have overlooked it when looking at next patch.
At your stage of the game, you should not worry about carrying. You should be playing Nunu or meta champs every single game and worrying about learning. If you don't know anything about jungling, no champion pick will carry you out of bronze; in contrast, even a diamond jungler will dominate every single one of your games with AD Brand jungle.
I don't wan't to carry my games to get out of bronze or climb the ladder, I just want to improve, and everyone tells me playing more involved roles will help me improve better.
IMO out of all junglers right now
S tier:
A tier:
B tier:
C tier:
F tier:
(unfortunately)
(fortunately)
The thing right now though is that the A tier and S tier junglers are considerably better than B tier. An A tier jungler should beat an equally skilled B tier almost all the time assuming equal teams. They're not just marginally better, they're gods compared to lower tiers.
The tiers also aren't in any particular order, the first champ in the A tier is about as strong as the last.
Out of the champs you listed the best are Hecarim, Graves and Nid. Graves is pretty much a brain dead easy champ, so if you're not familiar with the role he's going to be the easiest of them.
Nid is at the bottom of B tier. She's barely playable but is in no way on the same level as a champion like Vi.
Nid is a high skill champion, but when played at that skill she's highly effective, especially with her last buff. She's currently sitting at a 49.35% winrate on NA in spite of her high skill cap.
Nid is solidly in A tier, you can't really argue that she's worse than all of the champions in B tier, post her buffs she's a damn strong champion. I actually think that once the S tier champs come down a bit she'll settle near the top of A tier. Currently the one thing holding her back is that she's bad into Lee/Kha/Rengar.
Just to clarify as well, my tiers are assuming a skilled player on that champion, otherwise Rek'sai, Elise, Nid and Kindred would all be a lot lower.
Nid is nowehre near A tier. I'd argue gragas is still B tier. RUmble is pretty decent imo and i'm pretty sure he is better than Kindred jungle atm ( kind is dogshit ) If you play Fiddle jungle atm you are a troll and you should be reported.... lmfao
Kindred and Nidalee both benefited a lot from their buffs last patch, they're two high skilled champs and their winrates both moved up to the vicinity of 50%. I think they're both very good right now, they're two of the more underrated champs right now and as other champs above them get nerfed you'll start to see them a lot more. Still a good Nid or a good Kindred is nothing to laugh at and this is a list assuming good players.
Rumble is an odd champ, he's more of a gimmick than an actual jungler IMO, same goes for Twitch although Twitch's early aggro is generally a more effective gimmick. Once you've played against a Rumble jungle a couple of times you learn how to basically play him out of the game.
Grag's at the bottom of C tier. There's nothing he does that another jungler can't do better. The only thing he has that can set him apart from other more efficient tanks in both the C tier and above is his ult but as it stands the ult is so slow that it's just not enough. Someone like Sejuani who has a similar kit ends up utterly outclassing him, she's marginally more tanky, does more damage and is harder to kite with better, more reliable CC.
adding champs that I feel you missed
A Tier:
B Tier:
C Tier:
F TIer:

Also I would drop graves to B tier, because while he clears well, he only offers damage. and a lot of your lanes are not going to bring gank assist making him a lot worse for solo queue than in a team environment, where they will actually play champs like maokai or naut top. Kindred I don't feel is B tier worthy, but I know some people do find success on her still (feel she is weaker than udyr though who you have in C tier) And you can't have lee in S tier without having Ivern up there, seriously Ivern is so incredibly strong right now it is insane
I feel Xin is A tier worthy, even though a lot of people would disagree, simply because his early pressure allows him to compete with the S-tiers in a game and not be worthless, not because he outclasses the others in A-B Tier And malphite is only A tier because of the best jg's being AD, and he does well vs the meta champs/comps
All of the junglers you listed except Twitch who I did include and Xin, who I forgot are C or bellow. Xin is probably B. You're overvaluing skill floor and undervaluing skill cap, only listing the easy champs high.
Also I would drop graves to B tier, because while he clears well, he only offers damage.
He has good early ganks, in the current meta if you clear well and have good early ganks you're at least a B tier. Graves also has very high burst and ranged carry potential as well as powerful vision denial, he's an easy A rank.
Kindred I don't feel is B tier worthy, but I know some people do find success on her still (feel she is weaker than udyr though who you have in C tier)
Skillcap VS Skillfloor. A good Kindred is far more valuable than a good Udyr. Udyr can only do one thing, he's basically a bad Vi who just runs at a carry rather than point and clicking them and has less impact if he reaches them. Kindred does something utterly unique, which alone is almost enough for B tier, on top of that she's actually doing pretty well since her last buffs.
And you can't have lee in S tier without having Ivern up there, seriously Ivern is so incredibly strong right now it is insane
Ivern's easier, Lee Sin's stronger. A good Ivern and a bad Ivern are basically the same. They do the same shit, send their rock at you and throw in Qs. While Lee isn't super hard you can see the good Lee's from the bad. I can't even tell if I have a first time Ivern or not. Even at that I feel he's the number 1 champ in A tier, his problem is that he utterly lacks true carry potential. If he has a bad early game and his team falls behind then he's fucked even if he's snowballing personally, Lee can hardcarry if he's good,
-snip-
I guess I didn't see the twitch, however I think you are overvaluing skill cap. Remember the large majority of players are high bronze - low gold I placed champs where I feel they fit in Plat elo, and if I put just east the easy champs at the top, Maokai and Cho would be higher while Malphite would be lower. YES malphite is not hard to play as a champ, however he is hard to succeed with in the jungle specifically. But a good malphite jg right now is incredible because of how strongly he fits (or rather counters) the meta. He can't power farm, he has to gank and get good ganks off.
Also it is less Ivern should be S tier, and more Lee doesn't deserve it, because a behind lee = 100% worthless, where a behind kha/rengar can still assassinate someone. Ivern deserves it more because he at least is always useful, and I can definitely tell first time iverns from experienced ones just based on their first clear...

Players know their own champ pool by the time they're high silver. If we're talking about Plat there are good Lee Sins, there are good Nidalees, there are good Elises. Even playing in mid gold I almost exclusively see champs from A and S tier. The only two champs from bellow that I've seen more than once are Sejuani and that's because she's my main and Warwick, who was just reworked.
He can't power farm, he has to gank and get good ganks off.
His early ganks are very weak though, pre 6 he has a 0% chance to get a kill on almost anything. He has no hard CC and no dashes and low damage, his pre 6 ganks are absolute bottom of the barrel.
One of the things about high tier junglers right now is that they all have dominant early games. Theres a good reason for this, a jungler like Lee Sin or Elise can snowball the game out of control at level 3. If you're a jungler who has less pressure than them, like any champion in C tier and most of the champs you listed you lack options to deal with this.
But a good malphite jg right now is incredible because of how strongly he fits (or rather counters) the meta
There is no counter to the meta currently. You have to play to it or your champ's bad. Malph jg is bad because he can't play around the early pressure the meta puts down. What he does later isn't really important because a good Lee shuts out the game before he becomes even remotely relevant.
because a behind lee = 100% worthless, where a behind kha/rengar can still assassinate someone.
Bullshit. Even when behind Lee still has good damage and insane utility on his R. A lee who's behind can still effectively remove a carry from a fight.
Lee is absolutely one of the top junglers in the game right now, he's about as good as both Rengar and Kha'zix.
bump
bumping really doesn't do much in these kinds of forums :s
:P
i may be off slightly but not far heres best to worse

Thanks for the feedback, but why isn't master yi higher?
I almost completely agree with his assessment. I would say Yi isn't as low as he appears; he shares an almost identical role with Tryndamere and Udyr as a split pusher, so I would say they are valued equally.
ok. But what about Jax? Since he lost a chunk of health I've heard people say his teamfight potential has been lost and he has been demoted to splitpush only status.
I'd say it heavily depends on the enemy comp (though Yi does a bit too, hard CC fucks him). We're in the "ADC in 2017 lul" meta, so frequently there are fewer autoattack based carries on the team; if he can't utilize his dodge strength part of his kit has no use.
But what the fuck do I know?
That is an impressive amount of nami games. So does Yi deserve to be above jax?
Depends on the enemy comp. I'd want a Jax vs. Riven and Vayne, I'd want a Yi vs. Darius and Sivir.
This is a general tier list, so who has the most good match ups if it were blind pick?
I wouldn't waste too much time considering what's better, playing what you enjoy and mastering it is more important than just picking what others tell you is good. If push comes to shove, I'd just say Yi is better, but I'm biased.
oke
I put yi below tryhard, simply bc tryhards ult gets more towers. He can sac himself to kill a tower basically, plus he has better disengage with splin and mocking shout if he feints and enemy backsteps. Yi on the other hand has no escape besides a movement on his ult, no slows ect... Yi will put out more damage but tryhard can survive a cc yi cant.

Nid is the worst out of all of them

my top 5 toplaners for 2k17

Try them out (especially the first one with titanic hydra and full hp items)
For those junglers, best to worst from my in game experience

is probably the easiest jg to carry with.
People argue that
is good right now, in bronze to gold people just feed with her unless they main her. If you are not familiar with her or the jg in general you're not going to carry.
A good Nidalee can still run away with games though. Especially now since games snowball harder than season 6.
I think
should be moved up to S/God tier. The utility he brings is ridiculous.
