I don't think this is how promos should work, dear Riot
Got into D5->D4 promo off a win streak, first game of promo, I got mid when I queued up as support/mid, was very confused why in the first place it is allowed at all that I got put in secondary role in promo, this stinks real bad especially if you play support/xxx because obvious reasons; So I lost the first one, not too unfair but this is definitely not in my favor. The second game was less reasonable to some extent, this is the elo distribution of that game, I mean I don't know what happened in the matchmaking process but this was really BS, in what world should I be inserted in a bunch of d1/d2/master to qualify a god damn d4?
In general, queuing up as support yielded some really weird games for my promo. I didn't get support in the first game because the duo in my game had a support, I really don't mind waiting for an extra 1 minute or 2 so that I can get to play my main role in my promo especially support has a bigger need to begin with; and the second game was just backing this up (I won it btw), I believe I got put into this game because there's a shortage in support within the higher elo pool.
So I don't know, the matchmaking metrics seems flawed and I really hate any negative impact on my promo.
