I play both Overwatch & League and I enjoy both very equally, but when it comes to which team is more respecting towards their community, the Overwatch team EASILY win that one.

Because almost every week, Jeff Kaplan (Vice president of Blizzard Games) uploads a video onto youtube explaining the upcoming changes in the game AND addressing user suggestions, and complaints that users have been having.

Whevener I read or watch one of those /dev things that riot always upload, it always seems like they're advertising the game more than really evaluating it. They always talk about how "Exciting the upcoming changes will be" but almost never ever ever address the NEGATIVES that League has been facing, such as towers.

Step it up, Riot games. League has been around 5 times longer than Overwatch has, this is very amateur.

And we get 2-3 posts a week from Meddler talking about upcoming potential changes and gameplay, and get to have an open discussion with him

I'll give meddler that even if I think these past patches have been lazy and ill thought out. He does at least talk to the community. Though his username being Meddler makes perfect sense considering he's consistently meddling and breaking things with his decisions. :/

This is true though, Overwatches devs care a lot more. They tell us about negatives, that discuss, they tell you if your reports did anything, they have a less toxic game in general. (and don't do it all for the money, instead they give you free loot boxes and let you get payed things PURELY cosmetically, this may be due to you having already payed 60$ though).

Well, for me riot killed lol in past 2 patches, because its easier to me to move back to dota 2, than to learn a completely different game, which is not league of legends i loved, an for which i left dota 2.

I could play supp and adc as well as mid, but now, only role in game for me left to play is mid, and with like only 3 viable champions in mid at the moment. That is fucking boring, and these boring bot metas i cba to start learning, and theres reasons i never played top or jungl, those roles were never for me.

And what did you expect from overwatch team ? Its Blizzard, they are the most community and also pro-scene friendly company in he world.
