I'm starting to get into ranked and I need a few champs I can reliabely play with that I won't get bored of. Malzahar is my "main" with 40k mastery level 6, but I've lost interest in him mostly. I've picked up Fizz to be my go to midlaner and I'm currently grinding on him. I'd prefer a top laner or a jungler. I like -Lifesteal -Not completely squishy -Can do decent damage -Doesn't fall off late game

-with warm regards, fatcat3000 Fizz item 1026

If you play malzhar you must take this medicine

Battle mage class dose 80mg

Specialist class dose 90mg

Battle mages are well rounded and since you play malzhar it won’t be hard to learn them. Just look at the winrates tier lists etc.

You got AurelionSol S tier and balanced, one of the most unique play styles aswell

Cassiopeia Imo god tier b/c she just requires you to learn and your basically the Poisonous Azir.

Azir now Ik he’s not a battle mage but he’s similar. He’s op if you learn him. I stick with this option b/c it’s true.

Vladimir even though a dirty pick. He is well rounded.

Viktor high status in terms of what he does. But truth be told he is coming back and you should prepare.

Now Ik I said specialist but it’s hard to identify them anymore. But here’s some artillery

Xerath why you ask? Cus he’s xerath the next thing to landing every skillshots and being called a scripter,

Velkoz EVEN WORSE LOL! Yes worse in a good way, velkoz is the special mage of true damage on top of that he has long range aswell.

Fiora

  • Builds 2-3 lifesteal items

  • Can build items such as item 3143, item 3065, item 3026, item 3053 if needed, as well as having Riposte which used effectively can negate alot of damage from auto attacks and abilities alike.

  • Has a passive that does 10%+ maximum health true damage late game in addition to her auto damage, built in crit, and with ravenous hydra has multiple auto resets with her EQ and hydra used together allowing her to not only be able to have sustain DPS, but to also be able to burst people down.

  • Pretty much the strongest late game duelist in the game (Jax depends on skill) because she has a low cooldown dash, and her riposte allows her to negate key damage abilities from champions.

Example Build: item 3074 item 3078 item 3047/item 3111 item 3812 item 3072 item 3026

Fiora is a champion who can be relatively easy to pick up as she doesn't have the highest skill floor unlike champions such as Cassiopeia who needs to manage her poison or Riven who needs to animation cancel which are completely unique and difficult core mechanics to the champion, but Fiora also scales with skill, so she can be exceptionally powerful in the hands of people who master her kit, like watching how certain players use their abilities like if a Renekton likes to use his W as soon as he E's, you can use this to your advantage and riposte his stun and turn the trade around in your favor.

Hope this helps, if that is of interest to you, you should watch "ForgottenProject" on Youtube and Twitch, he is a Master tier Fiora one-trick and has a guide for runes, build paths against all of her match-ups.

Dusk & Alex have already suggested her but I'm here to persuade you for Irelia .

Irelia is a mechanically intensive champion that's a LOT of fun to play. Playing her your job is to weave in autos, dance around/through your opponents with Q & basically become an unstoppable destroyer of worlds once you've sliced enough enemies to dust (so basically - you aim to get a lead/go even in lane, benefit hugely off skirmishes/map plays & proceed to play off your lead as an unstoppable maelstrom of blades).

Why is Irelia the pick for you?

  • Her Q has built in sustain & you can easily go lifesteal on her if you wish (though most Irelia players avoid it since you already have Q's heal ratio).
  • Her W provides her a hefty amount of damage reduction and that alongside building brusier (Trinity - Steraks - Titanic - GA/Deaths Dance - Randuins etc.) makes her very tanky in the right situations.
  • Her damage is pretty good in the early & mid-game though (as of 8.16) she does fall off fairly hard in the late game as a result of her numbers being undertuned for it. In the late game she basically loses every duel top.

And above all - her personality & lore. Irelia is the story of a girl who fits a role far too big for her shoes so that she can truly carry on the legacy of those who have fallen around her. On the outside she's confident, straightforward, loudly outspoken hellbent on making Noxus pay for their crimes - but on the inside she's soft, kind, somewhat anxious (mainly from lacking confidence in her ability to lead) & constantly at fear of not only betraying the ones she loved (her family) but those who look up to her for guidance and leadership. The best way to describe Irelia is that she's a sweet young girl who took on the weight of the world and toughened herself in order to hold it. So, in other words - she's one of us, a brave girl who got too wrapped up in things and before she knew it was the center of everything (we've all been there before). Yet she carries on both for her family and for honor and that passion, determination and sheer selflessness is what makes her amazing.

And, well...there's also the rest of her personality. Can't go without mentioning that.

If you want to get into Irelia just let me know, I'm D4 and I've been playing her for 100+ games straight in Nexus Blitz so I'm fairly confident that I know the champ in and out, or at least well enough to get you started.

SO whats the problem?

you dont have to have a "main" or be a "one trick pony" play what you like and enjoy and pick according to match ups/team comps etc

It's ok, I'm lvl what.... 161? Idk and I don't have a "main" per se. Having a main isn't totally necessary. I've learned that playing a large variety of champs and rotating through several you prefer is a lot more entertaining (if less efficient) than grinding only on one. I don't even have a main role anymore lol

-Lifesteal -Not completely squishy -Can do decent damage -Doesn't fall off late game

W/ these 4 criteria, also a toplaner, i'd say Irelia Renekton Jax and possibly Darius for ad champs, and for ap Swain or Vladimir are decent options too.

Lifesteal, durability, not squishy, good damage...that sounds a lot like Irelia. Jax also fits that.

Nasus does as well, mostly, but he tends to fall off in teamfights due to easily being kited and peeled. Much more durable, though. Also has a lot of damage, and his passive is literally 12-24% lifesteal.

Kled is also an option (Durable as hell, hard as fuck to kill even without durability, solid amounts of damage, good in teamfights even in late-game), although if you want lifesteal you do have to get item 3812 (It's a good item on him, though. Makes him even more of a bitch to kill), or at the very least take Grasp.

All four go top primarily, although all four have been made to work as junglers now and then, depending on how the meta is.
