Ok, so tank Fiora is only a problem if she gets gold
She's pretty squishy already. Without being able to buy defense, she gets blown up about as fast as AD Fiora without as much damage. Thus, the plan is to try to delay it via keeping her down.
Solution? Pantheon. His passive blocks hers. All of it.
As someone who plays Pantheon religiously, I can attest that it is pretty damn easy to get 2 consecutive passive procs. 3 Is also doable but harder to do, especially in lane.
Think about it. She lunges and hits you to consume your passive. You W her during this window where she can't W yet OR you auto/Q her to proc the 4 stack and get the second shield so that when she goes for it with her auto, you also block it. This is especially powerful as Fiora usually uses her E to slow you, but since it is her first proc, the shield also block THAT. God help her if she ults you when you have W and block+3 up. She can't do shit. Even if she does W, you spells and autos STILL count towards the stacks.
Just don't W her W; you'll die really quickly.
But all of this basically means that Pantheon is immune to Fiora's passive AND her ult when played properly.
And since Fiora is popular in ranked right now (and because I 100% pick Pantheon top) I have some experience in this matchup, and it was so braindead easy I thought it was a fluke.
It isn't. Embrace the art of war. Down with Baguette Bitch!
edit: Just so we're clear, his passive BLOCKS hers. It does NOT CONSUME it. If she ults you and her auto gets blocked, the auto is blocked, the vital is not triggered, but the vital still remains active. This is different from all other auto-attack modifiers where the buff is consumed when blocked.
+ 4
- Pantheon just loses mana trying to harass me. Then I complete an Hydra, and then instead of going for a Black Cleaver, I build a Deadman's Plate. This gives me armor and HP, enough to whitstand Pantheon's burst and outduel him. Once you are able to complete those two items, not even Pantheon can stop Fiora.
