They even patched it up for ascension. They could have actually kept it and taken more care of it, specially since they patched up the area anyways.

I think the problem was actually keeping the queue up not reworking the map. They were simply losing money by its sheer existence. By the time they cancelled it the crystal scar was at least 80% bots if not more.

Nah, they aren't going to be losing money on it. They'll still need to do the debugging with the rotating queue.

What steams me most is that Howling Abyss got the pirate update that was then tossed into the gutter.

Meanwhile, Dominion gets jack shit.

Riot stated one of the reasons they didn't want to keep Dominion up was because it looks very outdated compared to Summoners Rift, which clearly they fixed up quickly anyways.

Besides that the other thing was the bot problem that convinced many players to not bother. Tearing the whole thing down didn't solve anything. Now you can find them in Twisted Treeline.

Yea, I mean dominion wasn't a bad idea for a game mode but I think it was smart so they can start making room for more updates, game modes, skins, and champions. Instead of reworking crystal scar. Amumu

Considering they managed to rework SR while still doing all of that stuff, I'm not so sure that reworking CS would stop it either. After all, it wasn't like CS was getting any unique champs or skins. Featured Modes is a different team, and Alternate Maps in general only rarely get updates.

Same. 3v3 just isn't doing it for me. Too snowball heavy and 3x more unbalanced than Dominion ever was.Every game is either stomp or be stomped. SR is too big and slow, yet somehow manages to be almost as snowball heavy and unbalanced as 3v3.

I want Dominion back.

I miss the game-mode but definitely don't miss the bots in half the games, shitty 1-sided matches, and neglect from Riot in terms of balance.

True, but still, those bots were mostly in low-elo because they always lost so once you got past a certain MMR in Dominion you rarely saw them. Then again it took forever to get matches.
