I WAS becoming an avid malzahar midlaner before you reworked him

season 4 was good for me with malz then came that dreaded rework.

tbh it really didn't take me long to realize after you reworked him i would have to look for someone else i could use. it doesnt take a lot of brain power to realize that combination of stats abilities and passive was gonna get gutted into the ground.

tbh im glad i saved myself the pain.

that being said: rework:revert malzahar to his old old self you did it with kogmaw so do it with malzahar. my mastery on him means absolutely nothing.

Kog broke OnHit itemization, so Riot reverted him. Fair.

Malz is breaking bottom lane, so Riot is breaking him back. Seems like a reasonable reason to revert to me.

Old Malz was a pretty simple champ, but he did what he did well. Sure, he might have been too binary, but he had two fun niches you could focus on with either AD or AP. I can't recall anyone ever really complaining about him before the rework.

But I see plenty of strong Silver players carry on Malz mid. Not joking. You say you don't even play him anymore, so you aren't a proper judge.

Malz rework nerfed him hard. Check the boards you will see. All the top players who used to main malz have had to move on to other champs to maintain their Diamond / Plat status. There might be 1 challenger Malz main left, and he also had to change champs to keep up his wins.

i know i played malz since season 4 and im saying that i basically don't play him anymore mid, played him on and off in support role but thats about it. and even the support role is starting to become rather lackluster
