Because people like playing different champs...? What kind of reason is that? Imagine how horrible league would be if everyone followed that mindset. Some champs playrates would hit the 0.001% level while the "most busted" would hit nearly 50% I don't play sion just because he's strong, even in ranked. I play him because he's fun. I don't find yasuo fun and personally i don't like torturing the enemy/my team by going him regardless

Yasuo is the only champion that your own team will ban just because of some BS stereotypes. Yea I main him, but not because i think he is op (and want to gain some free elo) I main him because i like the champion, his skill set and his looks. Even Riot(ers) hate(s) him lul https://i.redd.it/z7izzb5oe49y.jpg

SSShutTheDuckUp7 votes

Instead of living in denial accept that it is not BS stereotypes. Yasuo does make the game less fun for all other 9 players in the game

Spicy Rice2 votes

Point is, people complain about him being op, yet never play him, which raises the question of how is he so op?

NineTailedMystic6 votes

because he has so many tools to outplay his opponent but his opponent has so few ways to outplay him.

NightmareAmazoX3 votes

That is what classified as a skirmisher/duelist.

Spârky2 votes

so having no counterplay to a champion makes them a duelist? that means i should just put a full team of duelists because if yas is what classifies as a duelist id have the most broken team in the world

Corrupt Bliss1 votes

There's a reason you're bronze.

Spârky1 votes

I was silver last season :p i realize im bad at the game but that doesnt mean that yas isnt broken. Hes still so broken kit wise.

NineTailedMystic3 votes

You can outplay Fiora much easier then Yasuo. You can outplay Master Yi much easier than Yasuo. You can outplay Jax much easier than Yasuo.

I don't think that's a defining trait of the class.

Papa Andrei5 votes

all duelists have some way to utterly negate their opponent though.

Fiora has her parry and healing and percent max health true damage and crits. Master Yi has insane AA speed and true damage along with healing and invulnerability Jax has mobility, burst, and anti-aa along with getting defenses for building damage. Irelia has a huge stun and slow based on health %, true damage, healing, gap closer, and range burst damage. Ekko (mage assassin duelist idek what he is) has perma slows, max health exectute, shield, slows, and a big nope buttonl

Duelists are designed to just be a big nope fuck you Yasuo just has more options to this.

NineTailedMystic2 votes

Fiora has W as her primarily outplay tool which lasts significantly shorter than Windwall , and is on a roughly equal CD and costs a decent amount of Mana, on top of being easier to bait and is much more selfish than Windwall.

Master Yi has virtually no mobility outside of running at you. Deal with Alpha Strike, you deal with Yi.

Jax has one gap closer and only negates AAs instead of all projectiles.

Irelia is, well Irelia.

Yasuo has a stronger defensive tool, has no Mana unlike any of the champions you listed, and has a much easier time gapclosing unless you're fighting in the river where even then he has Scuttle to E off onto you. If not, he still outruns most champions due to how he has high base MS on top of rushing an MS item.

GULAG 4 U1 votes

I enjoy how you do not mention the fact Fiora's W doesn't reflect cc so you can get your point across.

NineTailedMystic1 votes

To be honest, I completely forgot it did that.

His recent nerf on the PBE nerfs his early game.

Isn't Yassuo challenger?

:P

But seriously don't misspell your title, especially when someone is actually named 'Yassuo'.

NineTailedMystic1 votes

Who the hell is he.

NightmareAmazoX3 votes

Yassuo is a Challenger player on NA & his currently playing on the account named MO3 which he also got to challenger, His 17 year old, He Mains Yasuo, Like ArKaDaTa who is also a Yasuo main & last season was challenger top 50.

Can Faker be weak early game considering how much power he has in the late game?

lol

TotalJerk6 votes

He's supposed to be weak early and strong late. But it's currently the complete opposite. He's super strict and unforgiving to lane against, but if he doesn't snowball (which he very often does below diamond) he just gets exhausted/CC'd and blown up the moment he tries to ult anything. The weak lategame just isn't that noticeable to the average player because he typically either snowballs or gets totally shat on.

But She Was 166 votes

Far from weak early game? Please.... elaborate.

8 times outa 10 most Yasuo players play far too aggressive early game. And I honestly feel like a lot of players become scared of him because of it. Only to turn around and call him OP lol.

If hes doing this all you have to do is let him push the lane.. which he will, due to over using his skills to harass you. Call your jgler to gank and hes done. Then repeat.

Other than that.. learn your match ups. The only early game advantage Yasuo has going for him is his E/Q(tornado) harass factor in lane. Learn how to play around it and your good.

He doesn't actually have that much power late game though. He is just like any other ADC, focus him and he dies instantly, it's even easier since he is melee and most frontliners have point and click CC.

I don't think he is that strong early either, but he does spike way too hard with PD+Cloak, IMO they should make his crit bonus passive scale with level (maybe ranks in ult?).

This is a low damage build, sure you might survive but you won't be killing any good players with that

Edit Since idiots players who can't think for themselves and dont realize there isn't 1 build for every champion and continue to pile up downvotes..

item 3087 item 3006 item 3031 item 3072 item 3036 item 3026

^is what an actual damage build looks like. Not abusing broken items like Mallet and Phantom Dancer(which is hilariously broken ,face it) to make Yasuo into a class of champion he wasn't intended to be. With these items, paired with Warlords bloodlust, Yasuo actually becomes the class he was designed to be.

With the shiv procs/crits, and the fact that the Shiv's proc resets when you pop your ultimate(no matter how far you've traveled) means you have a ridiculous burst, taking out adcs usually in a single combo.

But yeah, idk what I'm talking about, I've never played Yasuo before in my life, or had any success what so ever in a match as him.

"low damage"

Hes running 100% crit, 250% crit damage, and around 250+ AD. And when he ults, he gets bonus armor pen. So hes going to melt everyone.

Low damage my ass

Looknook5 votes

Doesn't Yasou do less Crit damage so isn't somewhere around 200% or something with infinity edge? Not saying that his damage is low with that build just that it's not THAT high.

"He doesn't actually have that much power late game"

Near true damage and 100% crit with great offense/defense combo options is bad late game

Lmao

Junkο1 votes

If it was strong then ADCs wouldn't be in such a shit spot atm. And note that ADCs are ranged and most are mobile too.

Corrupt Bliss1 votes

Don't know why they down vote you. It's honestly true. While Yasuo is an ass-hole type champion, as long as you have a competent team with a strong front line and decent CC, Yasuo is not as over-bearing.

Junkο2 votes

Check their op.gg and you will see the answer for why they downvote.

They are all low elo, simple as that.

GamerThink5 votes

Early game isn't weak? What are you playing against him, Soraka? XP

Incarceration4 votes

I will only accept nerfs to his early game if they buff his ultimate damage in the late game. Make it do like 1000 damage because the only shit that is actually noticeable about the ultimate is the armor penetration. The flow goes down as soon as it goes back up so please consider this.

agbudar5 votes

you mean that ult that has a 30-16.5 second cd depending on cdr?

Stephen The G2 votes

you mean that ult that DOES 800 damage to a whole team while ccing them aswell?

YumScrumptious961 votes

The ult that requires a 5 man knockup to actually hit the whole enemy team, which isn't easy if you aren't playing anyone under level 30.

Stephen The G1 votes

"not that easy" sure the circumsdance have to be right but wind man can ult off anything and everything have a Zac Yasuo combo LUL ggwp

YumScrumptious961 votes

Ult off any displacement that knockups someone up, when his allies do it. Its incredibly hard to get a perfect knockup, obviously you've never tried it as unless you have the worst players possible against you, nobody positions together in a tiny clump.

Stephen The G1 votes

sure but its possible but the zac yasuo that is very easy and viable me and my friend always do it he can easily get jumps on 3 peoplet i got my first penta as yasuo when he got a five man ult

YumScrumptious961 votes

Ever heard of anecdotal evidence? Of course 5 man ults exist, that doesn't mean they happen often or are easy. With your reasoning I can say that I've had someone get only 1 in Zac knockup therefor its not strong. Zac has to hit people when they clump, which is only easy if the enemy sucks.

Stephen The G1 votes

well i play in silver so they do suck and most of the qq threads are from bronze and silver players

Spicy Rice7 votes

Who the fuck has 40% cdr on yasuo?

NightmareAmazoX3 votes

None takes CDR on Yasuo..
