The biggest reason I miss Team Builder

I really really miss off-meta things. If I wanted to play a game and go Braum top, just for fun, I could queue up for it and the people who would see it would ether accept it, or say no. If I wanted to go mid Soraka just for fun, I could. If I wanted to ask if someone wanted to do Singed/Cass bot lane, they'd ether be all for it, or not.

However, now, even if i'm playing a normal queue, I often will feel guilty if I'm playing something extremely off-meta. Not to mention, people take Normal Queue super seriously and will often flame you for even trying to pick something off-meta. If I wanted to practice Rumble Jungle, chances are I won't even be able to grab jungle :<

I miss Team builder... a lot ; ~;

Queuing off-meta on Team Builder took centuries though :O

I liked to play the game of "how many lobbies can I go through before the team doesn't panic" queuing up as Revive TP Karthus. When I got into those games, it was either full of really brave people, or someone knew who Phantoml0rd was and saw that Suicide Karthus can carry games.

Either way, it was fun to see how long it took, and of course even more fun when you actually get to play.

I miss team builder because sometimes there is just something I feel like playing and I can't be guaranteed to get it in the other queues. Like you said too though, it's hard to play weird picks without a premade now.

People post on the boards to find duo/dynamic queue partners, you could probably do the same for off-meta normals.

I have not experienced the shame or the flame. I have been queueing with off meta picks in ranked draft and have had very little flaming unless I do extremely poorly. :P I think you should embrace your off-meta picks! If you have practice with them in normals of course.
