Ekko's W

Is a better Bard ult on a 14 second cooldown that doesn't have the capability of screwing over your entire team.

Does that mean Viktor 's W is better than Bard's ult too?

If it was a bit bigger, then yes, probably.

None of those abilities have the range of Bard's ult, they don't act as quickly, and they don't affect turrets, dragon or Baron.

Not even close. Ekko W can't help objectives, has 1/3 the range, can't stasis teammates (which does have its merits in addition to being the greatest troll ever made)

Wait, I take it back, you have to be IN the circle for it to stun. It doesn't have 1/3 the range

Uh, you might want to check that sentence.

It only affects enemies and you can actually attack people who are stunned unlike Bard who just puts the enemy (and sometimes he accidentally catches teammates too) into time out for a second or two so they can catch their breath and recharge cooldowns. Ekko can reliably use his W in teamfights and not be restricted as to where and when he can use it without screwing his team over. It's on a 22 to 14 second cooldown available at the start of the game, as opposed to Bards 130 to 90 second cooldown available only at level 6.

People talk all the time about hypothetical Bard ults that can save objectives, but in reality Bards ult never really does anything those situations and it usually just delays the inevitable. The only Bard ults I've seen make any meaningful difference is when it was used to catch a single person out alone in the jungle for a kill.

Honestly I see Ekko's W being more impactful on a game than Bards ult could ever dream of being. Ekko has enough AOE slows in his kit that he could actually probably do a better job as a support than Bard currently can.
