why aren't overnerfed champions getting buffs?
maokai, kassadin. gragas. kog maw. akali (she kinda needs a rework tbh).

I think that, except Kog and Akali, the other ones are fine, especially kassadin. He's a late game monster so he must have a weak early game. Plus the snowbally nature of the games, right now, doesn't favor him since most games end in max 30 minutes.

I mean his Q is very weak. and too situational to be of use. his whole kit seems to be his ult that was nerfed. and his W. his E is alright but you will probably use it once in a fight if you have it. or not at all. they just need to buff his Q.
i just feel like. for an assassin. hes not as safe as someone like leblanc. also he doesn't delete people faster than leblanc. only when your really fed you delete people in one rotation it usually takes a cpl Ws and a cpl Rs. if your in a good position. however leblanc can just faceroll one shot people with just one spell and her sigil and shes much safer.
however. maokai is too weak right now. at least. fix his mana costs.
Maokai: Because he's the best tank in competitive play every single game when he's good. Kassadin: You know why. Gragas: Same reason as Maokai. Completely dominates pro play whenever he isn't weak. Kog'maw: Buffs are coming soon from what I've heard. Akali: Her kit is honestly too low counterplay and faceroll for her to be both healthy for the game and balanced.
Gragas was just mentioned to be buffed in 6.3 (most likely) by Meddler. These things take time my friend, chill for now.
Game health mostly.
Many of those champs may have had counterplay problems when they were strong. So Riot wouldn't be looking to completely undo the original nerfs. Yet figuring out what to replace them with, takes time.
Akali does in fact need a rework.
Kog, probably is going to be a knifes edge balance wise. And riot is going to end up being extra causous about buffing him.
Most of the other champions are probably okay, but just not meta. I really do want to compare tanks like Maokai and Gragas, and see whether or not the tanks are being overshadowed by Juggernauts though.
Gragas is my go-to jungler. He is one of 2 junglers I can play, and the other one is Yi (FML, i know).
Personally I don't think he is that bad atm. Just max Q and with that new mini Ludens as jungler item you deal a lot of damage early - midgame.
Azir?
Kassadin is still strong....
Maokai is broken, alkali I broken, IRELIA needs a buff
Kog may or may not be getting buffs in the near future. Riot has been pretty dodgy about that question since they're afraid that 'Protect the Kog' comps might be too strong despite the fact that in most cases you would be better of building a team around literally any other hyper-carry (or MF).
I'm hoping they either improve his poke (so he has something to do when his W is down) or make his W available at all times whether through cooldown changes, toggles, a new Passive, or resets on takedowns. Kog is sort of a burst of damage ADC right now, which makes little sense given that his whole thing is supposed to be high sustained damage.
I'm surprised Sejuani isn't on the list.
She's definitely not the weakest of champions, and she has an even win rate, but you hardly if ever see her and it's depressing since her double-nerf.
How to rework alkali
Her Q is now a skill shot
W Is now a 100% MS buff that also reduces her damage taken by 40/45/50/55/60% for 1.5 seconds -CD lowers when striking an enemy champion or killing a target (should be spammable if hitting enemy champions with AAs, Q, E, and R, but long CD for not hitting anything) [need to land E on multiple champions to have the energy to spam though]
E now also returns energy per enemy champion hit
Passive now causes her to stealth for .5/.75/1/1.25/1.5 seconds (lvl 1/4/8/12/16 when she kills a target, duration is doubled for killing an enemy champion) the duration is not consumed when inside of her shroud instead of
R is a dash that can be intercepted by enemy champions (no more ignoring enemy team as you jump past them to kill thier carry) Gains bonus distance when used toward an enemy
Akali got a bugfix and very minor energy buff (she doesn't have energy problems).
