My name is Shingetsu, and I'm the best Ornn on the planet.
I'm here to tell you that Ornn isn't played near often enough. There's so much to love about this champion, yet I never see him. Ever. Let me explain why Ornn should be picked more often.
- Ornn doesn't need gold to do damage. A good Ornn's damage is incredibly reliable even without items.
- This in turn allows him to build literally anything he wants and still do respectable damage, if you play him right.
- Ornn can protect his carry with the best of them. Pyke, Blitzcrank, Poppy, Vayne, Thresh, Braum, Zoe... A lot of the most dangerous CC you're apt to face bot can be completely negated by stepping in front of it and pressing W at the right time. If you're up against a Lux or a Morgana, you can still use your W and Q to pressure the enemy while you're rooted, then E after them the moment you get free if they don't back up.
- Ornn's ultimate decides river and jungle fights like no other (except perhaps Qiyana). Worst case scenario, you can scatter the enemy team at will and give your team isolated targets to pick off.
- Ornn doesn't need to go back. Ever. Not when you build him like I do, at least. Health? No problem. Mana? Not an issue. Items? Build them yourself. You'll be in lane all day, whether the enemy wants you there or not. No one, and I mean no one, sustains like Ornn.
2019, Shingetsu's Ornn. No Flash. No Ignite.
Top: A-/A-/A- Mid: A/B/A Support: A+/B+/A
Compared against all Ornn players in those roles, my kill participation, damage share, damage per gold, roam dominance, and kill conversion is substantially higher. You can trust Shingetsu. Shingetsu is telling you that Ornn is your new best friend just waiting to be picked.
