Is it me or do people usually fight for dragon as soon as it spawns now?
Support main and I usually ward dragon, but it seems like a team gathers as soon as it spawns anyway. Or maybe that's just URF messing with my memory?

any smart player is taking dragon asap.. so that maybe you have a chance to get elder before the game is over... but it is very rare to get long enough into a match that you ever see an elder..
FF at 15 because your are 2 kills down is the normal now
for me it is the other way around. my team straight up ignores the dragons and lets the enemy take up. more often than not the enemy team gets all 4 dragons while my team gets none.
It is that way. Yea. The idea is to kill bot and do the drake as soon as you can. The first 2 drakes are just that important.
In my low-ranked games, there is often an obsession with dragons.
This is not league of legends. This is league of dragons (and turret platings)™
What I find is that players no longer have a good reason to care about anything else. When I am playing it’s always watching the clock for the dragon. There is almost never a good reason to go for anything other than dragon. Even trading baron for dragon can at times be acceptable (and even good if it’s a soul). The permanence and the power of dragons are incomparable. League of Dragons (and turret platings)™ definitely seems to have a snowball objective bias problem on its hands.
The game isn’t about keeping your lead, the game is about making your lead impossible to overcome. It may sound the same, but the connotation is different. In the former, the losing team has a solid chance and poses a threat to the winning team, so the winning team must work hard to make sure it doesn’t happen. In the latter, the winning team gets a lead that gives them more leads for free and so one kill turns into multiple, multiple kills turn into objectives, and objectives turn into a feelsbadforbothteams victory. League of Dragons (and turret platings)™! Play now!
Yeah because of how fucking broken the souls and Elder are.
That's true - but usually just one team does that - so i guess it depends what team you end-up in (the one that jumps on dragon as soon as it's up or the one that doesn't give a fuck). It's kinda cringe to play jungle in the team that's indifferent about dragons. Especially since there's always an ignorant team mate who flames/blames the jg - if the enemy team gets all the dragons, even tho - he was part of those who refused to help when dragons spawned. Sure, once in a while i mange to steal the dragon - but i can't get this people who refuse to help - yet they have the audacity to blame the jg - as if being a jungle means you can always pull the kill for the dragon out of your ass (contest the dragon alone vs 3 or 4 enemies).

That depends on which drake spawns. The only two relevant ones are Infernal and Ocean(to a lesser extent). There is a misconception drakes a MUST when in reality, only like 2 of the four actually impact the game.
