"Cho'gath has the best silence in the game"

Malzahar

K.

Edit: Fine I admit that Cho'gath's silence that does less damage, less scaling, less cc, less range, more CD, and is only slightly easier to use is better. Wait, no I don't.

Cho'Gath's silence is a cone, and is very easy to land on multiple targets. Malz's silence is nice and all, but while it can hit multiple targets it's not really designed to be a mass silence like Cho's. Cho'Gath definitely takes the cake.

and eats it too. seriously, have you did the size of a late game cho'gath???????? he clearly takes all the damn cake and eats all of it.

I can reliably hit the enemy laner (75%) unless if they are hyper mobile, then it falls to about 50%. In teamfights, I usually hit 2 or 3 people.

And before you say "Ur silver u play against bad people", I'm silver and I'm also around the same skill level.

That's fine and all, however Cho has far better reliability as both a single target and AoE silence. It may have slightly less duration, however it sets Cho up for his other CC, where as Malz really only has damage to follow up with. Your personal skill with Malz does not mean Cho'Gath is any less capable than he actually is in comparison.

It doesn't take much practice to learn how to reliably land Q. Most people move pretty predictably.

You can reliably dodge Malzahar's CC. It's predictable and covers a smaller area than Cho'Gath's. If you're in the Cone, you're getting hit by it. There's really no dodging it. However, Malzahar's straight line is much easier to dodge. Also Cho has his Q that sets up for the already almost inescapable silence, while Malz's only hope is really try to read movements and catch the enemy (Won't count malz's ult as CC setting up for it because that takes one scenario where you cast the silence then quickly ult, and that is on a massive CD unlike Q-W".

Furthermore, Cho is incredibly tanky so the chances of him being bursted down before laying it down are much less than a malz being bursted down.

Cho's silence is better than Malz lmao.

if looking at the duration is your only factor then its no wonder you are getting downvoted

Better range 2. More damage, more likely to hit multiple people, lower CD, etc.

Malzahar's Q has a .5 higher CC duration, longer range, slightly higher damage (25 +.1AP), and a lower coodlown. It also has a delay on a rather thin skillshot with a cast time. While on paper Malzahar's Q is much better, Cho'Gath's W is MUCH easier to reliably land on multiple targets.

Most people move predictably making it easy to land with a little practice (really like 3 games) before you can reliably hit 2 or 3 people in a teamfight. Furthermore, you can get aggressive with Malzahar's Q, but Cho'gath is more defensive/reactionary.

Actually no, Cho's is most likely to hit more people. The chances of multiple people standing in a line are smaller than people being in a general cone area.

3s if it manages to hit. 2.5s silence that will hit everytime. Unless the Cho aims it in the wrong direction.

Yes, and it takes less time to get your food at McDonald's than Burger King. Do you think McDonald's is better? Dumb dumb.

"Where's the Beef?"

Wendy's FTW.

Daedalus8711 votes

Well once I account that McDonalds is like a 10 minute walk and Burger King is about a 30 minute drive, McDonald's is better.

But really Jack in the Box beats both.

That CD though. And it's only a 1.5 second silence.

And I don't think I have ever seen anyone get snared by it.
