Posters should be more specific about the adc they find issue with

Players need to talk about the specific marksmen that they have a problem with and stop grouping them en-masse

Some adc like varus, jhin, mf, kog and kai'sa are more team dependant and don't have a wealth of options for dealing with threats on their own.

If one has an issue concerning hypercarries with strong defensive options like twitch, trist, draven, vayne, kalista, or xayah, then one should call them out individually.

There may be an argument to be made about less damage being afforded to adc with legitimate in-kit defensive options. However, such a case cannot be presented when all marksmen are being grouped together indiscriminately

I think the issue people have has more to do with how dependent the game is on the ADC.

If your team's ADC dies in a teamfight, you usually lose that fight. And it can be really frustrating because some people like playing mages and assassins mid, some people like brawling in top lane, some people like jumping out of a bush to kill steal secure a kill. And Its frustrating when, even if you're winning in your respective lane, taking towers, etc. you hit the 10 minute mark, bot loses 2 towers mid is being pushed and if you try to go help you just die because the ADC is too far ahead, and since you're not an adc, you can't deal with the rest of the enemy team between their ADC and you.

And sure, ADCs are there to do damage, but it is kinda annoying to basically say ''it's a team game, but only that lane matters'' and think that that's fun, let alone fair. And I wouldn't presume to know the solution, But I think asking someone to be relegated to a meatsheild for up to 40 minutes is a lot to ask.

I have a problem with the role as a whole though. It can't be looked at objectively like any other role since only one class archetype is played there. It skews everything to the point where champions are only compared to their role counterparts and nothing else and says nothing about role strength.
