We should learn to play from behind

"OMG so fed, the enemy Talon is 22/0!!!" And that's why you should not go alone to farm the lane near their base.

"OMG They're taking dragon!!!" We have 3 manaless champs and the enemies all have a mana item each; that Ocean dragon is useless to us and to them. But if you die trying to steal that, we're 4v5 for the next objective.

"OMG Nasus is splitpushing top! Soraka recalls" No. Just... no. Send someone with CC and wave clear instead. Or a duelist. Someone that can stop the push, not someone that cannot and that we need here!

"OMG Lee got a double and is camping bot pls help! jungler pings omw bot" Wtf? Go take herald and their top buff instead, Lee is bot and cannot stop you!

"OMG there are 5 people top, they'll dive me!" One, leave that tower and run. Your sacrifice will not save it. Two, we have free access to dragon and the enemy bot buff; if we're coming top or staying in lane instead of taking those, we deserve to lose.

It's almost impossible to turtle nowadays, you really need a bunch of insane waveclearers on your team to pull that off like Gangplank +Anivia and even then its still hard even if you will play it safe you will still lose all objectives just slower.

If you want to comeback you usually need to take big risks nowadays, like going for that nashor steal, or trying to pick off and solo kill the enemy adc, before they properly group for the inhib push, so you can stall the game by another minute or two, even if these plays are unlikely to succeed.

You are right of course, but playing as if we're ahead when we're not (or just giving up) is only going to make the problem worse than it is.

I'd rather see people learn how to play when they are ahead so i don't lose half of the games because they fool around and play for kda.
