I actually had a teammate complain that I didn't have this item, when I said I all ready had almost 40% cdr (cdr runes) he said I needed it for Mf, Camile and Vi. As if 30 armour and 15% attack speed slow beat 425 hp, a bit of damage and a lot of movespeed. These brainless metaslaves that complain if you don't build what they expect, tut tut tut. I go for . Deadmans and righteous glory together is a lot of movespeed and if no one is able to bodyblcok the RG slow effectively*[zombie-nunu-hearts]*

well yes and no... does frozen heart help you individually as nasus at that point? meh

does the attack speed slow aura help lower the over all dps of the enemy and help your team ? YEA

but didnt know mf,camille and vi were heavy auto attackers like a tryn, vayne, yasou

its doing shit against vi at the very least, since she can auto attack reset with her e twice.

same for camille.

this is a way of gaining attack speed that cant be counteracted with attack speed slows.

i dont see the point in frozen heart either. nasus is better off building health and relying on the resistances from his ult. if he wants to slow enemy attacks, he still has wither available.

yet frozen heart is not a horrible item on nasus... if he dont already have the mana pool or the cdr

it actually helps him in those aspects that he takes less dps while having it, and having the cdr and mana to dish out and use his Q alot more often during a team fight/extended trade

old school build on nasus was item 3078 item 3065 item 3110 as core every game no matter what... you just inter changed what you rushed, one could actually get item 3057 item 3024 item 3067 as 1st 3 items in game and have armor, hp, mana, cdr and the sheen proc and that set up starting off will give you 30% cdr fairly cheap and it was core components for the items you were building anyways so non of it was wasted

currently its simply not a good item on nasus, because he has better alternatives and it would overcap him on cdr.

i think this will change when the overcharger rune becomes an option for him. it effectively turns hp/cdr items into hp/ad items for him, which is really nice for a bruiser build.

yet i did say ITS NOT A HORRIBLE item... citing if he needs the mana, cdr.

and i cited that the OLD SCHOOL build included frozen heart as core...

never did i say it was a must, a have to have , or ideal.

first of...it's 90 armor. frozen heart has 90 armor.

and second, meh, it wouldn't be useful against the matchup you mentioned. MF has her R and her Q, Camille and vi have up to 2 consecutive AA resets on low cooldowns

i think he was mentioning the difference in armor only being 30 while gaining the HP from deadmans.

and i dont see how it effecs MF ult at all ... her ult dont scale with attack speed

oh, ya, i see now. he probably did make a stat comparison.

but what i meant is MF has a lot of Skill based damage, so frozen heart AS reduction doesn't affect her as much. if it was someone like a sivir or jinx i'd go frozen heart over anything else.

why compare it to item 3742 tho? you can easily fit both into a build

would make more sense to compare to item 3078 or item 3025 because they're all 20% cdr items

because game time is limited.

when youre deciding what to buy as a second or third item (around the time nasus truly power spikes), then dead mans has higher priority in almost all cases, as it effectively grants more defense than frozen heart.

you want to maximize your power spikes, this means you want to buy the right items at the right time. for nasus, this means cdr/damage with sheen items like item 3078 item 3025 first to stack up as fast as possible, then defense. considering youre aiming for cdr cap as fast as possible and most nasus players run cdr runes while rushing sheen items, there is simply no room in his builds for frozen heart.

the right midgame build is almost more important than a lategame build.

you want to end the game and win there when youre at your strongest. this makes frozen heart maybe your 4th or 5th item. but even then its just a nieche item and has less priority over utility items like item 3065 and item 3800 that simply fit better into his builds due to less overcapping on cdr.

He has explained for me, all though I could compare to RG too. RG has better stats, is cheaper and a really useful passive.
