so lets see here.
queues . someone gets support and dodges ostensibly for it.
again
queues. someone gets support and dodges ostensibly for it.
again.
queues. you get support and dodge for it.
when you are part of the problem. no single raindrop thinks its responsible for the flood.
i mean i get it on the personal level. by and large you aren't going to have the best synergy with anyone you get paired with especially when it matters most for shaping the game during early, and you get less resources to work with.
tends to wind up feeling like you can't meaningfully carry or impact the game from that setup.
which is just one of many parts in the long history of support play hate.
and its a meta thing too. once upon a time teemo was classed ranged, stealth, support.
back in the heart of gold era.
nowadays supports aren't that just because they have supportive or utility abilities instead of cc or damage, its been formalized into a position and behaviour expectation over many years. some deal damage, some cc and tank, some shield and heal, but they all depend on working well totally blind from the word go on their partner and all get boned on income.
so rather than decrying queue times, try instead treating the disease, not the symptom.
think about why you "won't have a good time" as support, and why others feel that way strongly enough to dodge.
communicate loudly instead about why you hate the role as it stands, and is increasingly cemented.
decry the support by design of suck it up and take everyones crap as a role.
increasingly push for ways in which the role, if it must be maintained as totally meta and skill fixed duo or else synergistic enjoyable play nightmare sucked dry of real feeling of empowerment and agency, can provide more agency, sense of empowerment and less my partner even before level 2, even before minions spawn is going to have more impact on my fate for the next ten minutes than i will, perhaps even more than the enemy duo.
