If you think that it's wrong, then prove them wrong. Someone calls you bad either prove em wrong or don't let it bother you.
Maybe someone had a bad day.
Idk I rarely see this, but I also don't play a lot. Usually rank shaming players are not any better, just don't listen to them, and don't let them make you doubt. In addition, to my answer, everytime I face so called "smurfs" they don't play any better than me or (mostly) any other players, and I am not a smurf. Plus maybe being too cocky they predetermine loss for themselves.
Some people feel if they play the game like a full time job, then they have more say over it than someone that has a career and plays casually.
Basically it's the same concept as "my dick is bigger than yours".
It's just the way league is.
