ADC's job is not to BURST DOWN LOW HP/ARMOR champions

So why the **** is this a thing?

Why do they do more burst than majority of AP mages?

As another squishy, i'm more afraid of approaching an ADC mid-late game then I am at approaching a champion like

Lower their damn damage to be sustained aready

you're more afraid of approaching a late game champion than a mid game champ when its late game?

a carry's job is to kill everything.
