Is it only me or anyone else wants permanent autofill removed by the cost of longer queue times?

Autofill is an understandable solution. Unfortunately it introduces issues some of which may not be seen as issues by developers.

What I noticed autofill has introduced is: -bad match quality for team: this one is pretty obvious; I know nothing about top lane so my team is kind of doomed on top, best thing I can come up with is passively farm and don't feed lane opponent -bad experience for autofilled player: player may get autofilled into role he doesn't know at all or doesn't like; again, I personally hate toplaning, it's just not my playstile and getting top is a torture for me -dodges: there are more dodges because someone gets autofilled in role he doesn't like -feeds: autofilled player gets frustrated easier - firstly player feels he was forced to do smth he didn't want so he will do it worse, secondly player thinks that he would be bad in role he doesn't know and it may be his excuse not to play good (rarely players will persevere and try to win)

What it achieves: -lesser queue time -it may introduce players to role they wouldn't try otherwise -your team may tryhard if they know you're autofill

Overall opinion: My current queue time (with autofill) is around 2 minutes. I would gladly agree to wait 4-5 minutes to get a better game. Getting autofill may mean 30 minutes (or 9 if dodged) wasted. That is nowhere near to additional several minutes of queue time. For me personally autofill doesn't do anything good. Maybe for higher elo players it does but I seen challenger players saying it's bad (but mostly because they don't get their main role and get autofilled while diamond player gets their main role). Another thing is I don't think we need permanent autofill. Making it active only on low population seems more reasonable. Thought I think it is temporarily due to client update launch. And regarding feature that would allow players to select unpreferred role. I assume it didn't work out because most needed role is support and everyone started disabling support. So it achieved nothing. You can improve this and make it work by making most needed role unselectable. For example I'm ok to autofill as support but I know nothing about top lane.

P.S.: Autofill protection is really good feature.
