Quick Question: Does the New Ashe (tm) benefit from greater than 100% Crit Chance?
The math formula you gave:
"Basic attacks always critically strike targets with Frost Shot for 110 +( [Crit Chance] x [1.0 x Crit Damage])% damage (increased by items that would otherwise grant Critical Strike Chance), but Ashe does not otherwise critically strike."
...Seems to indicate that Ashe can actually gain extra "critical" damage through having, say, 210% critical strike chance (
).
Is this the case?
Is it intended?
Can it be? It's a weird interaction but I don't think it's unreasonably powerful considering it enables some cool item builds that get around item restrictions we normally see. I mean if you end up with 110% crit chance on a build, that extra 10% is wasted on any other character. It doesn't seem like it would be outrageous on Ashe considering you did literally pay for it in gold.
Note: with
you'd have 110 + (20+35+35+35+35)*2.5 = 510% damage "crits." Each Flurry would be pretty spectacular.
