Stop dodging/shifting picks/generally screwing up the comp because I take Irelia as a support. Irelia can support just fine.

Irelia's Q allows her to proc with minimal danger.

Irelia's W denies space early and allows her to tank skillshots for her carry.

Irelia's E allows her to stun both enemies with pretty good frequency.

Irelia's R is literally the ADC-killer.

Irelia is a fine support, and I'd like to be able to play her there without people throwing a fit and scrambling, playing bot with top runes and demanding I go top with support runes.

yeah ppl are metaslaves and dont know what can work. I probably had around a 75% win rate with one of my friends going bot with Jarvan Irelia

Try to see their point of view - "I always wanted to go Vayne mid, I think it's good, if he tries Irelia sup why I can't try my thing"

That what happens in most of my normals when I take lb sup or Vayne mid (usually it ends badly for them cause their pick is sht and they just get frustrated..)

I'd be alright with that, but that's not how it goes. It tends to go...

Then Darius switches and locks Blitzcrank with two seconds left in the pick phase.

Ah yeah I don't have this problem in blind picks cause they know I want to mid.

Make it clear to them that you want to play support (in my games they are usually somehow know that it will be 3 in lane if they will try to take my role so they almost never do)

On paper, anybody sounds like a good support. ADC's want someone who can protect them and peel. Going Irelia offers no protection for her other than your stun. If they get jumped on what protection do you offer? You can't heal them or shield them or knock people away/up so they can re position.

I'm not saying Irelia support can't work (Hell, I play Teemo support so I know what you mean) but look at it from the other peoples stand point. They want someone who offers utility not more damage when there's already more than enough
