Who thinks that Xayah / Rakan will immediately get gutted and left unpopular...

Like basically every other new champion in the last few months (excluding ). I mean how many times have you seen one of these: ? REMEMBER Camille? How she had such a high playrate, got gutted, and now virtually nobody plays her? IMO Jhin and Warwick were the only two successful reworks/new champs in the last few months.

Now this is from a Bronze perspective, but I just don't see the pattern changing, especially when Xayah has a Twitch ultimate as her PASSIVE and Rakan is essentially a mage sent bot lane, again (do we really need another "support"?).

This is how Riot makes their money. They have super-hyped releases so people spend RP on champions, make them PURPOSELY OP so people buy them, and then gut the champions to "game standards". Hey, I can't blame them; If I owned Riot I would probably do the same.

Illaoi I don't see much, but she is pretty strong when I do see her.

Ivern is literally the most busted champion right now with an insane winrate, I see him a good bit.

Kindred is pretty bad because of the armor nerf, but she was good for a LONG time after her release and they just recently buffed her up.

Galio is pretty strong, still see him a fair amount. He isn't as popular because the new champion sheen has worn off.

Can't say much about Yorick, I don't see him.

Kled is good. He has a steep learning curve but once you're over it he is a good champion. He is in no way bad.

I don't really agree with your sentiment that they got gutted and forgotten. Only Yorick is really like that, and I don't know if he is bad or not because i don't see him.

Xayah's passive is not even close to hwo good Twitch's ultimate. Not only does Xayah's passthrough damage get reduced, but Twitch also gets bonus range and bonus AD. This is like the alistar ult vs WW E arguement. Yes, they're similar but one is MUCH more powerful, and you said that WW was a good rework.

I've played Vlad when he was gutted and I play Ryze now. Xayah and Rakan being gutted won't stop me from playing them.

Rakan is too flashy, Yasuo mains will pick him when autofilled no matter what, lol. IMO that's the whole purpose of him, being flashy pick so autofilled midlaners and junglers don't dodge.
