i declared my gangplank once and he got banned out by my own team. i asked why and the guy that actually did it said "you didnt declare" and im like . . . yeah . . . i did. i know i did because i habitually pick gangplank every fucking time. and then his duo q buddy came in to say "no you didnt" now its 2v1 and im like . . . well shit im getting trolled

That. Exemple : I'm banning Vayne because she is unfun to go against. Player 4 in my team doesn't intend he want to play Vayne. I Ban Vayne. He rage at me saying why i banned his champion. I answer to him that he didn't intended and i can't read mind . He troll pick Soraka Mid and go intentional feed the enemy team. People should seriously learn to make use of this moment to show WHO THEY ARE GONNA PLAY SO THIS KIND OF BULLSHIT STOP TO HAPPEN!

There are those games where some teammates purposely ban the champ I want to play because it's SO funny. I've had a duo who banned my champ and proceeded to feed the enemy Top and Jungle. Lets just say the enemy team did not know of our team's struggles, so those two are probably still rampant.

Sometimes I play in the Philippines. There, they purposely ban the champ that you declare just to troll. Most Filipinos are nice but the young men there are just mean.

Get permabanned for not reading someone's mind? It's their responsibility. Riot specifically gives them 15 seconds to declare; it's also their responsibility not to AFK during champ select and actually voice their opinion.

On the one hand, the person banning cannot be blamed when there is no pick intent. The person that got accidentally banned out did have the chance to Pick Intent.

On the other hand, people that don't use pick intent are often just being pragmatic. Because you're always weighing the chance of "will my team ban my champion out if I don't show I intend to play it?" versus "will my team ban my champion because I showed I intended to play it?"

It's kind of a lose-lose for all parties involved, and I sympathize with both sides.

This happened to me twice in a row. I got put into ADC and I'm still learning match ups for that role as the ADC and I was playing Jinx and didn't feel like dealing with Ezreal that game.

Our midlane didn't flash Ezreal so I banned him. Guy locks in our toplanes Teemo and blames him for banning Ezreal (for some strange reason, even after he was well informed by our team that it was me) and proceeds to feed off his high horse and do nothing but argue with our top laner.

Good lord it was mayhem.

In my personal experience I'm more likely to see my champion banned if I do hover it, as there are a lot of people that just want to be assholes in this game. So I just take the risk and don't hover, and if someone does ban it oh well, there is always next game.

I agree with this statement 100%. It's annoying to me when I am banning, and they said I ban their champ when they never declared who they want to play. Of course it's mostly Yasuo players, since I can't stand the champ. I always ban him when I get the chance.

Had a Yasuo OTP on the enemy team who whined about his team banning Yasuo when he didn't have it hovered. Int fed bot, was obnoxious the entire game. Eventually got pissed enough to tell him off.

Declared that Blitzcrank would get banned, and not him.
