Why do people feed?

I mean holy shit, I am SO SICK of losing matches because of other lanes feeding their asses off. It's been so ridiculous lately. Is playing safe not an option? Do people just run back into lane and immediately start fighting or unsafely shoving the wave? I don't understand why feeding is so common now. It's so frustrating because I have ZERO control how these other people play and they have such an influence on what rank you get.

I guess I would like this to be a PSA: DON'T FEED. IT'S OKAY TO PLAY PASSIVELY / SAFE. YOU CAN MISS A FEW MINIONS IF IT MEANS YOU LIVING / NOT TAKING DAMAGE IN A TRADE.

I bet your team wondered the same thing when you went 1/5, 2/6, 0/4, and then 3/6 as Malzahar , then 8/11 as Yasuo . Don't worry, I won't bring up your support or aram matches.

Bad games happen. I went 0/9 first time Neeko last night, and it was dreadful.

I like how you checked my history but went and cherry picked for bad matches. Here I'll help you:

Last match I died one. Match before? I died twice. Match before? I died once. Before that? I died three times. Before that? I died twice. Oh look, a 7 death Ashe! Someone who's simple minded wouldn't think that most of those deaths occurred after the game spiraled out of control already. Before that? 3 deaths. Before that? Oh look, three deaths! I hope you get the point. I don't feed.

FYI: You can't tell when all the deaths happened. Dying 5 times when the match is done is WAY different than dieing 5 times IN LANE WITHING 10 MINUTES. Hard to comprehend?

I didn't have to cherry pick, over half your matches you're negative, so yeah, you do feed. Don't be self righteous like you're better than anyone else.
