Lux isn't a real support.

45% winrate and almost nothing positive in her stats. except damage and shes inferior to vel koz or brand. don't play lux support please. if people are gonna make threads about mf support am gonna make a thread about lux support. she literally puts the adc behind because of how little damn pressure she provides in the lane and the only thing she can do is harass and push lane at the same time which is bad for her immobility.

inferior shield. squishy immobile. mana costs too high. hard to lane poke for a long lane such as bot lane. shes useless in bot lane.

Lux

Passive: every enemy hit by one of luxs abilities is illuminated, hitting an illuminated target with an ability such as E or Q, then hitting them with an auto is an awesome poking for a suppport due to the fact that it deals Bonus damage to the target, and can be procced multiple times (Q+AA+E+AA)

Q: Long range snare capable of snaring 2 opponents. 2 opponents. adc/support = 2

W: x2 Shield. SHIELD. and its long range. SHIELD.

E: Zoning/slows. You can literally zone then away from an area with your E or cast it ahead of them to slow them in chase.

R: Kill pressure, wave clear if adc is away, zoning

Not to mention lux has a very strong lategame if she builds a full AP build.

Im not even a lux main..and I know all of her capabilities..damn man

EDIT: also a tip, for lux's poking you can setup your E ahead of time by casting Q+E simultaneously and then proceeding with Q+AA+E+AA. helps make your poke rotation quicker

this.. and u didn't even mention you can use her E to check bushes as it gives vision

i mean yeah u get idoit who try to play her "full AP mid" in bot lane...

but when u pick her SUPPORT and PLAY her that way she is VERY good

obviously like any support she has bad matchups.

u dont pick her into things like Thresh Blitzcrank Leona

but saying she cant support is flat out nosense from someone who donest know how to support on her properly...

i mean.. with a max lvl shield (which i max second) and 40% cdr (which is easy to get because almost every damn thing in support gives cdr)

your shield has a less than a 6 second cooldown. item 3504 lasts for 6 seconds... you can literally keep that buff active on your whole team the ENTIRE TIME when fighting for objectives as long as u have mana.

i have literally won games because of that

open your mind friend, for in the league of life we are all supports. but it doesnt have to be that way, you can be the carry you always wanted to be. You just have to believe in yourself!

lux's secondary role is support. It means she can help her team in many different ways (like cc, shield) but she is mostly for damage.

her cc is inferior to many actual supports and so is her damage early . shes usless pre 6 and has low base damages unlike zyra brand and vel koz means she isn't gonna 100% anyone with no good amount of ap.

She isn't there to 100 - 0 anyone as a support. She has a fair amount of CC, with her snare and her slow. Weaving attacks in between spell casts can actually put out a large amount of damage. Brand, Vel, and Zyra are all squishy, immobile mages as well.

She isn't really useless, but I hate having her since she doesn't do enough. If you have a lux, and someone else picked an actual support on the other team, it doesn't really make her too useful. Lux vs Soraka, Janna, Blitz, Thresh, Braum, Morg, Taric, Nami, Bard, Lulu, Ali, Leo. I would much rather have one of those supports that are actually supports. They could easily defend against a lux honestly, and you can just get qss early to prevent lux from doing much. If Lux comes to poke you, it isn't hard trading her with autos and an ability to lower her down, while you're doing it you might get healed or shielded by a janna, or lux, or a blitz pull. This was really meant for the argument that people says Lux support is good. She isn't. Don't understand why people think that.
