Fiendish codex gives 35 AP, but Athene base AP is 30

Just a remark.

I know when buying Athene, you get a minimum of 50 AP because of the item's passive, but Fiendish Codex gives 35 AP since a buff a few patches ago. Wouldn't it be logical to increase Athene's AP by 5 and maybe increase its price by let's say 100 gold?

It's just so weird to see a finished item ''lose'' a base stats.

Like you said it's not really losing ap because of it's passive(which is intended) so there's not really any reason to change it

Take into account it's passive.

It loses 5ap directly but gains 20ap from it's passive. It's meant to be built with other Forbidden Idol items.

Well, if you say that, I would like sterak to give 35 bonus flat stats AD :)

(not really)

I agree but it doesn't need to be more expensive because it's already a weak item.
