there are 3 main metas; Burst, sustain and tank. Each of these metas beats one and loses to the other(Burst beats sustain, sustain beats tank and tank beats burst). For whatever reason Riot likes to keep the game in either the burst or sustain meta and never lets the tank meta in much.

Though this time, the Bruisers have even more HP, do even more damage and aren't kitable thanks to Rito's innovative new items like , , and

Fiora top and Vayne ADC are extremely strong picks yeah. Banning them makes sense, but regarding toplane, it's always been populated by strong duelists OR ultra-safe teamfighters, because, well, it might as well be toplane island.

Yasuo however, while an awful drag to lane against has been pretty weak throughout season 5 (and he's a rather poor duelist to boot, at least when compared to the really scary duelists like ).

Devourer jungles are extremely strong right now, and it's a shame Riot refuses to adress this issue, I know devourer doesn't see competitive play, but competitive play has nothing to do with what 99% of the population experiences, and what 99% of the population is experiencing regarding devourer is a really bad frustration.

I wouldn't say that Yasuo is a meta pick right now.

I wouldn't call it the duelist meta, I'd say the **Fighter **meta.

It's because those champs frequently do just as well, if not better, during teamfights.

Duelists are supposed to drop off in team fight scenarios: think rework Darius, hell during 1v1 but in team fights he was pretty ass. But Fiora has a team wide heal stronger than Janna ult as long as her target dies, Yasuo can land 3-5 people in his ult easy if he has someone like on his team, and Vayne has enough peel herself that as long as her team isn't braindead she can do her job easy.

And for some reason, despite numerous buffs adressed to him, Jax still sucks in current meta :(
