But for Odin' s beard GO FUCKING SUPPORT TOP. Don' t stay in the jungle without the appropriate items!

Jungle items give you better clear, experience and gold. Without these you are destined to fall very very hard, so much that actually a support top gains more gold and exp than an unappropriate jungler while in the meantime having a meaningful presence in the game.

If you insist doing jungle then at least focus more on ganks than on clears, so you can still apply pressure.

I just lost a game 'cause of this, a lee sin had flash and ignite and neither went support top nor he ganked the lanes early - when all the lanes were at 6 he was at 3!

i've had this happen once and my question here is, how keen do you think top lane will be by you stealing their exp/giving the chance of a free kill to the enemy top laner? top laners aren't exactly the nicest people, if you're playing a jungler that can decently survive in the jungle then its better off, especially if you rush a vampiric scepter

Well, they can ask the top laner. Me, I'd be perfectly happy to have a support, particularly since I play squishier top laners who die pretty quickly if caught off guard.
