Kayn is literally exactly what I expected.

A hypermobile, snowballing "get fed or be useless" assassin that can make flashy LCS plays but cause a yasuo-level banrate in any other ELO, with a lot of % health damage, and of course untargetability.

Yes his kit looks pretty sick to play but it just seems like every champion is essentially these complicated mechanics strung together and that no simpler champion can ever be created. Rakan is probably the simplest champion made in the last year... Just too much stuff in a single kit.

Just my opinion.

He's not complicated at all.

He is the exact opposite of everything you said.

WHAT COMPLEX MECHANICS?

Dude. What is so complicated about his kit? Yasuo's kit is way more flexible/complex.

What is a melee champion with a "simple" kit? Garen? You want more garen? Trynd? Thats about as simple as you can go in LoL. Is that what you want?

Then you have to ask yourself, what hasn't already been done? When you go for these ultra simple kits and keeping this really small margin of complexity, you end up with a generic version of some other simplistic champion.

Name all the generic/easy/simple melee champs in LoL. So I know what you're going by.

Really he looks like a basic fighter kit to me. His not even that complex. His damage is gutted if you go Darkin but even in Shadow Assassin I wouldn't call his damage amazing. I don't see all the problems people are having with him.

Really the only complicated part in his kit is the "KIll a meele or a ranged Champion" part, the rest of the kit seems fairly straightfoward, save maybe, for his phasing through walls skill.

He is basic as hell and one of the more balanced, non overloaded kits ive seen recently. Sure his darkin could lose something like his mobility or like someone suggested the ability to use q to go over small walls and reduce his e time to 0.5 sec and increase the healing to compensate. But other than that he has a linear feast or famine kit that is predictable but has outplay potential while still being flashy. His damage is spread out nicely considering he has 3 damage abilities and each for does its job well. His ult is a delayed pre-fiora rework ult where you drag her into your team so she gets exploded. His E, while looks abusive is a balanced skill besides the OOB near the walls. His Q is short but useful and does good damage but you cant use anything during it. W is good too, being immobile for all expect shadow.
