Swains rework is awful

I love new Swain, personally. Likely to go back to spamming it like I was a little while back.

His passive is pretty great if used properly. E someone into your W, get two shards immediately and get a fuck ton of healing. It lets you be deceptively tanky during almost any engage so long as you know how to land your stuff.

The issue is having to stack your passive to use ulti and to get full effect out of your ulti. W is really slow and everyone voids it and missle speed on e is really slow. Also the fact you need to aa the snared target makes it that much more frustrating.

if youre getting roa after 13 minutes youre doing something wrong. dont build roa that late. otherwise build it first religiously, only stopping for a null magic mantle or cloth armor or boots. abyssal mask is a great catalyst item as well if you need to bail on roa.

Other than that dude, just build roa and lyandries. if youre top then sit on a seekers armguard after, if youre mid sit on a null magic mantle. lyandries is just too good. frozen heart is really good on swain too cuz the mana turns into hp off your catalyst item, combined with Q mana refund you just cycle resources like mad mid game. if you really want to scale cuz you think u can super carry or something then go for the archangel. but defintely get to building defense immediately after. IDEALLY, into heavy AD you would go roa archangel frozen heart lyandries, into heavy ap you would go mask, banshees, lyandries, sv/adaptive helm. sv is deceptively bad, isnt needed. you increase your heal by building banshees veil as well. building tank/cdr is great on swain. also, do not hesitate to grab a randuin 4th item (FOURTH.) into a growing vayne trist or jinx. most games for mid i do dark seal and refillable pot, taking advantadge of secondary tree inspiration for the bonus potion scaling combo. I run phase rush or aery, and i more often go celerity AND magical boots. domination secodary can be decent with taste of blood, and also resolve secondary with pretty much anything especially bone plating can be good.
