So when are we going to address Brand?

This guy is insanely strong right now. Rather he is support or mid lane and with a 54% win rate hes getting ridiculous. Hes not hard to play at all and for whatever reason he has everything you want in a mage except mobility. Should i start maining Zed and Talon just to deal with this guy?

You don't beat Brand with assassins. You beat him with longer ranged mages. Vel'koz, Xerath, and Lux are what you're looking for, not Zed, Talon, or Leblanc.

Whenever I play Brand, Zed is a difficult matchup. This is because unlike other assassins, Zed can dodge Brand's abilities with his shadows and his ult. Granted you must play Zed really well to do that, but a good Zed is nearly impossible to deal with as Brand. Also, you are forced to rush a Zhonya and this can delay either Rylai or Liandry. Unless Zed does not manage to get fed, of course, then Zhonya will not be necessary.

Other assassins that are difficult to deal with are Fizz and Rengar. Fizz for the same reason as Zed: he can dodge everything with his Playful/Trickster. Rengar is not obviously going to lane against Brand, but a jungle/roaming Rengar is difficult to deal with. He can come from nowhere, and he instabursts Brand, not giving time for Brand to reply with E + Q and survive.

It's true that Brand can beat assassins due to his kit (like other immobile mages which are surprisingly good against assassins) but this does not mean that Brand can deal with every assassin. Picking a mage that can outrange him, or Veigar, will provide more consistent results, but there are other ways to deal with Brand.

They nerfed Brand and his Deathfire touch. Not sure what more they can do to Brand without taking it too far.

Brand has been "insanely strong" for years, to be honest.

Another one of the low-flying "secret OP" that came to light because of DFT.

His late game is underwhelming to be honest, so I don't see why he requires nerfs for peaking mid game. The trade off is a mediocre late game.

His late game is not underwhelming. His mid game may be stronger, but late game, he can deal insane amounts of damage in AoE and win teamfights by himself.

You are not going to win Brand with those two champions o_O

Yea they need to nerf his insane passive.... 8% max hp gone for one abilty is bs when he can abuse item 3116 & item 3151 with deathfire keystone just fueling the problem... I find his passive is the problem and items, not the entire kit as a whole.

The only thing that troubles me is his passive. I may be able to dodge most of his abilities, but jesus, once one of them hits you, it'll burn your hp. Add a Liandrys and Rylais and he deals alot of sustained damage and you can't do much against that except if you have shields on your team..

Have you tried Fiora or Sivir mid? Morgana works well too.
