Pyke is way to strong right now. Like he gets way to much gold and isn;t able to be punished enough in lane with the amount of healing he can do. Even on my low level account people are playing him and doing extremely well and carrying games with double digit kills.
Make his grey health fade over time if he stays in vision of enemies. It won't remove his E-W safety but at least it would make him a lot weaker to poke.
Of course he is.
He's 24 hours away from his legendary skin being released.
Riot doesn't make champions strong based on skins though /sarcasm
You'll notice in a few patches time that Pyke and Jinx nerfs will appear on the PBE... after they've milked sales.
The mental gymnastics I've seen Pyke mains do on these boards is astonishing.

This is how you deal with a Pyke: Just stand behind minions and ..nvm, he just AOE stunned everyone and now looking for a point blank ult that you have no choice but to flash or die. Ok, just play passive and farm under tower.. nvm, he just helped kill your mid. Ok, pressure their adc he left unattended. ADC isn't stupid, backs off, meanwhile you are now pushed up hard. Pyke arrives! Enemy double kill. Ok, just wait for jungler and all-in him. Jungler arrives! Oh, he's gone invis and made it to safety... Better luck next time, chumps.
This champ was made specifically to piss you off. It's part of his appeal. And he excels at it like no other. There will be no nerfs, he's apparently not overtuned enough or he would have been on Riots radar in 9.15. All we can do is deal with it.
pyke is the worst farm champ in this game
I would say that most of his kit had been really pigeon-holed into Lethality support with no exceptions or other alternatives to other builds. You can Just go Dark Harvest, sudden impact, and triumph for extra amount of gold. And NO WORRY You level up and you get so much recovery with the amount of sustain you get up to level 18. Ehhhhh don't worry so hard It's not like Pyke really needs so much health now since he don't build it. It's not like he would ever ever ever ever build armor and MR again, and then kite you to oblivion until he engulfs you and traps you in and sinks you to the bottom of the ocean for years of all the hard work. YOU HAVE FLASH OUT OF HIS ULTIMATE OR ELSE HE WILL SNOWBALL TO VICTORY!!!
I mean, I used to LOVE this champion until he gets so gutted into lethality support. and now I incredibly hate this champion with my own gut. Fucking Pyke in ARAM is also making me so sick as well. 
he needs the gold because he cant farm anymore. you cant have a champ that cant farm and also not get gold from other sources.
dw once his skin has made its sales he will get nerfed
I feel like a lot of his issues could have been resolved early on just by nerfing his passive healing, and greatly increasing his returns from HP->ATK conversion. That way, you have a reason to actually purchase resistances too or as a viable option into other lanes, but you won't be massively punished all the time for trying to make a play and forced out too easily. It also reduces early Ultimate effectiveness due to lack of Lethality if you opted for more playmaking and less cleanup, but you can still get it, and vice versa.
