Climbing out of Bronze as a Mid Laner is impossible...

When your team takes your lane hostage at 10 minutes and you only have 50-60 CS and enough for half an item. When the ADC roams mid, doesn't get the kill, then sets up a tent in your lane, which consequently causes the enemy team to come mid.

Choosing between farming top/bot and hindering your team or being starved for the rest of the game while trying to help in teamfights.

Not to mention when your team dies to your enemy, then blames you at the end of the game for feeding them just because you're their lane matchup.

And if my constant pings to "please leave" work, the enemy is already camped with 2-3 people in my lane and I can't farm without risking death.

I really don't know what goes through people's heads, but I haven't had a good, 100+ CS laning phase in about 20-30 mid games.

It is not impossible, because I have done it. If you check, at the beginning of this season I was placed in Bronze 5 with 0 LP. I did not want to play ranked any longer. I was the joke of league of legends, a bronze scrub, a chimp, a low life monkey. I was who imaQTpie referred to in his twitch streams. But after admitting i was bad and focusing on CSing and ignoring my team and hitting towers, I climbed to Silver 1 and failed my promos to gold twice, but im still grinding! Goodluck my dude.

You inspire me, a true ape of a human who climbed his way out of the pits of Elo hell to become a slightly smarter chimp. The hero we need not that we deserve. Gl on your gold promos

Well, you can start by working on your CS. Perfect CS in lane is around 100 CS by the 10 minute mark, so by the time your team starts roaming you've already lost about half the potential gold you could have gotten from minions.

Go into the practice tool, go to lane with no items or skills, and just work on last hitting with auto attacks. Train yourself to recognize when a minion can be killed, what factors could lead to a minion dying before you can get to it, and most importantly how you can manipulate the wave to keep it in a favorable position. With the extra gold you will be a far stronger force for your team and can better help them close the game early.

It's little things like this that push you out of bronze and into silver.

You are in Bronze, so One-Trick a champion, go into practice tool, and practice cs-ing on that one champ. The less mechanically challenging the champion, the better.

Kayle, for example, has empowered autos for easier cs-ing, 2/3 core items built in a linear fashion, and only relies on positioning (not mechanically diffcult. Annie has fairly long range autos and isn't mechanically challenging as well. Ziggs and Viktor have great wave-clear and few skill-shots, so they are good picks as well.

Also, once you learn to CS, try to CS while looking at the minimap. You shouldn't need anything but peripheral vision to CS once you're used to it, and it lets you avoid ganks easier.

60 CS at 10 minutes is pretty low so that's what a lot of comments will focus on.

That said, transitioning from lane phase to mid game is difficult for mid laners at every level.

If your bot takes the enemy tower first, that is good. They should come mid and focus on pushing down mid tower. Push the mid lane hard and take objectives and map control.

If their tower gets taken first instead, then the ADC should stay bot and the support should come mid. You should be able to farm with the support there while the ADC pressures bot tower. If ADC comes mid instead of staying bot, I would consider recalling and going bot to get that farm.

All else fails, look to roam.

This will not get you out of bronze.

When the ADC roams mid, doesn't get the kill, then sets up a tent in your lane, which consequently causes the enemy team to come mid.

They are likely rotating, usually because of a tower down in their lane. If that happens just go bot if you need to continue farming, this is a way of extending early game despite the tower loss and teams grouping. (be aware that the other team will be looking for a team fight or objective and without you your team probably can't contest)

Choosing between farming top/bot and hindering your team or being starved for the rest of the game while trying to help in teamfights.

The game is all about choices (and positioning) it just comes with practice you kind of learn the flow of the game.

Not to mention when your team dies to your enemy, then blames you at the end of the game for feeding them just because you're their lane matchup.

Don't ever listen to your team (unless your premade and trust your friends assessments), you need to develop the capability to assess (mistakes and successes) for yourself. That really in my opinion is the only way to get better, realizing when something is your fault and how to correct it, and later how to adjust in game to prevent the mistakes again.

And if my constant pings to "please leave" work, the enemy is already camped with 2-3 people in my lane and I can't farm without risking death.

If that happens then it's too late to farm unless you can manage to have your team stall the game. But I mean you can always cs some anyway, grab a jg camp if there's no wave, or hold back (since your behind) and just last hit or waveclear as your team does. Nothing wrong with stealing cs or kills for that matter if you think you can carry your team better than they can. But you have to realize if someone else is already snowballing then you probably want them to get the kills/cs. It's a judgment call but remember your in solo que and never rely on your teammates in solo que (still play as a team, but learn to rely on yourself and make those judgement calls).

I really don't know what goes through people's heads, but I haven't had a good, 100+ CS laning phase in about 20-30 mid games.

Play some norms and don't worry about kda, just focus on last hitting only. Also maybe consider choosing a champ that cs's better until you get better at it. It just takes practice.
