Like why change it? it was a perfectly good item. It was a great way to avoid ridiculous damage when your mid laner feed your behinds off to Fizz and Zed. Like why even change it? No one ever even complained about it

Removing one of the only defenses that was somewhat effective in reducing their broken damage, only made them completely broken hence them being some of the most oft. banned champions in the game now.
I.e. they are MUCH more imbalanced now.

Schàdenfreude1 votesExactly. People who keep whining about QSS just basically hated Zed and Fizz. Little do they know that the life of a Zed against a QSS is extremely difficult and hard.
Rain NT1 votesthen they have to do something about Zed/Fizz current damage, or change how they can escape. Make a change where Zed cant R back to his initial position so he can die if he goes in. And change Fizz W to do less damage. Cause right now, its extremely difficult to deal with them if youre squishy even if your team is all around you. If you cant punish them when they go in 1v5 to get you then they shouldnt have that ability. I would say fine, if they kill me when im alone or goes in 1-2 fine, but if hes going in 1-4 and doesnt die, thats a problem.
Its either that or give us back QSS, cause Riot is already thinking of reworking Fizz and Zed after the QSS change, and I rather have the QSS then just completely gutting Zed and Fizz and changing their playstyle
Rain NT1 votesI say it would make it easier, before only low elo would have problems against Fizz and Zed cause they wouldnt build right or forget to use QSS or avoid Zed and Fizz in side lanes, and constantly beign greedy and solo pushing for farm. Higher elo players would know how to play against Fizz and Zed if their mid fucked up. Cause by late game, the high elo players would know how to avoid Zed and Fizz's damage altogether by grouping, having peel, and QSS at the right moments. Now if the mid laner end up feeding themselves to Zed and Fizz low elo and high elo cant do anything about him either way. Edit: Let me correct myself, now high or low elo cant do MUCH against them when they are fed.

Zed got much more OP since the change, once he jumps on you from 10 miles away with a shadow+flash+death Mark, literally all I can do is pray, no adc has a way to protect them selves from him, mf uses w+e? idk speed doesn't help you when you're dead. honestly, idgaf about zed players crying when the enemy adc has a qss, like you can one shot me either way. and also THERE IS NO AD+ARMOUR ITEM, if zed gets fed I'm useless, if LB gets fed, I get merc and maw, then bam, I'm safe from her.

Rain NT1 votesAssassins were never meant to scale, if Zed didnt get the job done by 30-35 mins, the game should be over for them. That was the cost for playing Zed. I even knew that when I played Zed, get the job done, kill every single lane and make your team stronger than the other team and win. But now its what... Their fed? Oh well, ADC cant get into fights without dying even if they play well.
Its either Zed/Fizz players accept QSS countering them late game, or accept the rework, because its already confirm that Zed and Fizz are getting reworks in the near future so they have more counterplay against them and probably removing their debuff and how they get away from situations so they cant go in for free and kill the ADC/APC. So do you want a new playstyle or do you want QSS, if I were Zed/Fizz players I would rather deal with the QSS then having a rework.

colesy1 votesbecause how are you meant to balance zed, fizz, trundle, fiora when the power of their ults is pretty much gated by qss? you have to make them potent enough that they're powerful when they hit but you need to then balance their kits around their ults just whiffing entirely.
tanks used to buy qss against trundle lanes to remove the debuff, that's how strong the item was.
Rain NT3 votesExactly, they would have to waste an item to get it. Atleast for Trundle he still gets the armor hp and mr, its just the tanks doesnt get their stats reduced anymore. For Fiora, just used it on anyone with QSS or unless the QSS active is down, even use it on a tank cause it does % max HP plus then amp with (bonus AD). And then Zed is an assassin that can kill anyone until they get QSS or too much armor and hp. And even then he can prob kill them without his ult depending on what champ hes facing against and same thing with Fizz. They are assassin they shouldnt be great by the late game, if they cant do their job early by the first 30-35 mins why should they be rewarded? They actually buffed Zed and Fizz now cause you cant do anything if your mid laner feed them. Atleast in high elo when your mid laner fed them you can deal with it when QSS can still remove the debuff, but now even in high elo. Zed and Fizz are fed? Well welp they will hunt you every time even with peel. And an ADC dying is worst than Zed dying, because by late its usually a 1 for 1 trade or Zed/Fizz survives and kills the ADC or APC anyway.

Rain NT1 votesThey wouldnt need to, Zed and fizz are confirmed to get a rework. So its either that or QSS, you "mains" you guys pick which one you want then. Because QSS no longer counter them, they are changing their kit in general so they have more counter play. So which one you value more, QSS counter or your beloved champion abilities.
