So is fizz unbalanced?

I honestly want to know if I am good with him or if it's mainly the champion doing the work. So the basis behind this post is because I just bought fizz and then played him for the first time, I had to look up a build but I carried so hard that i was wiping out over half the enemy team by myself and I made most of the enemy salty as hell by the end of the game. Second game came around and even after multiple missplays in mid and a few deaths early on I still ended up carrying as well. For a reference point all of these guys were high gold and low plat so they weren't stupid nor do think they've never played against a fizz before. l'd like to point out as well that even though it was my first time playing him I constantly watch pro's play him and have a full understanding of his kit + I learned all of his combos and when and when not to use abilities properly.

Honestly he's not unbalanced.

He is frustrating and can snowball incredibly hard, but that's his job as an assassin.

On the flip side, if he falls behind, he won't be able to do much. His level 3 cheese is strong, and his level 6 cheese is strong, but he's much better at making picks than he is at teamfighting.

On the other hand, his ult's cooldown could be increased slightly to give him more windows of opportunity, and if I were to nerf him, that's what I'd look at first.

After playing him for those 2 games I can honestly say he's the champion I think I've had the most fun with sense I started league and one of my higher elo friends says I'm a scumbag for liking him XD

I like him too. xD But he is troll.

People often confuse frustration with unbalance.

"Leblanc is OP."

"Zed is too strong in lane."

"Fizz level 3 burst is unbalanced."

They don't understand that that is specifically what these champions were designed to do. But, of course, since people mainly interact with a champion 1v1 in only the laning phase, they only see the strengths of a champion in that phase, rather than objectively looking at the champion at all stages of the game.

okay but you didn't actually mention a specific strength of leblanc XD which makes it sound like you're saying leblanc was specifically designed to be op.

Neither do people complaining.

It's always the lane bullies that get "OP" status for being lane bullies.

it doesn't matter if that's what they specifically meant to do. It can still be broken/OP/unbalanced.

For one, Fizz gets away with so much stuff like mispositioning, engaging at the wrong times, missing his ultimate and that is pretty hard for someone who actually cares about balance to see him as balanced, his kit allows him to ignore too much punishment for messing up.

You may feel like scum, but as someone who played Fizz a lot once upon a time, I can tell you, you're scum who has a butt ton of fun.

True. I'd say leblancs strength is in 1v1's, escapes, leaving her overall teamfight/splitpush ability lacking.

He is unbalanced but it is also your skill and knowledge of him. Assuming that you actually are **good **, you can take it to the next level with him and REALLY show it. A first time or casual Fizz may not exploit all of his strengths.

To be honest, I only think that his troll pole is unbalanced. Otherwise he's pretty much like every other assassin. I get it, you have a jump dash or blink (tbh he has a double jump) in your kit but you don't need an immunity. Imagine if Zed Leblanc or Talon had the immunity from everything every time they jumped? K.

they need to remove the untargetability shit. at least. let the turrets hits him. fizz buys zhonyas. full combos you. hes almost dead. you have 30% health. goes into stasis. and then does the regular shit. his playful style hitbox is way larger than visually appears too.

He's just obscenely frustrating to deal with, but honestly every champ in the game can feel that way if they're played well enough.

It's just more so the case for fizz.

If he was perfectly balanced, he wouldn't be falling off the pole so fast.

Just saying.

Statistically, he is one of the best assassins (~3 or 4th) according to champion.gg.

So yeah, he is unbalanced. Nonetheless, he still takes skill to play. There are many champions who are both stronger and easier than Fizz. If you can play him well, then it is your own skill that allows you to win.

The champ is balanced. It's his E. No champ in the game should be able to have an ability like that with a 7 second cooldown.
