Runeglaive tanks?

- I've been playing with the concept of runeglaive into tank as build paths for so tanks like
for instance. It seems decent with fast clears, CDR that is often good on cc tanks, and a bit of extra damage to help boost early ganks and get more income for tank items. You itemize for resists to their most farmed damage source first so you don't drop fast in early skirmishes, and by the time team fights roll around you can usually build both resistances, bc faster clears w/ rg translates to more farm for items. Does this just work bc my rank is low, or is this a legit strategy?
