I understand you want to support role diversity, but that contradicts balance. When a character is good enough to beat out the types of champions that are supposed to be there, they need nerfs. What's the point of playing a mage when a bruiser has the burst to kill you and the tankiness to survive your burst? You restrict ADCs to one role barring a few exceptions, supports to one role, why do bruisers get to go anywhere?

Role diversity is only important if you play bruisers. Everyone else has to be in their designated lanes. That's what I've learned during this entire push for lane diversity. I mean why else would Viktor top be getting nerfed. :/ how dare a champion find a success outside his designated lane

There's no reason fighters/divers can't go mid. Mid is traditionally the mage lane because: The small lane benefits low mobility high wave clear. (Mages) Easy access to blue buff for resource hungry champs. (Mages) The lane that most people group up in for 5v5 cuz middle of the map. (And mages generally have the best AoE)
I don't have any problem with that. Sure I hate Irelia a lot, but bruisers being picked on mid lane is not a problem at all. Having a Bruiser on mid lane instead of a Mage or an Assassin has advantages and disadvantages, it isn't just an overall better pick than usual mid lane champions. League players just need to adapt instead of expecting the game to never change. People on board's tend to act like they embrance new playstyles but once something new appears you guys tend to immediatly complain because "it isn't normal".
