A way to help when you have an AFK

Random thought, but what if after you have a player afks on your team (because of rage quit or computer error) that after 30 seconds the enemy team gets a death timer penalty increasing their dead time. The penalty is removed or even refunded immediately when the player returns but it takes 30 seconds to trigger the penalty to prevent abuse of the system.

I know we have all had those games where even though it is 4v5 you win teamfight after teamfight but it doesn't matter because there is too much map pressure due to the AFK and the enemy teams wins by minion wave management. It's a pretty crappy feeling to know you and your team played better but because someone rage quits you lose. I think that when you out play the enemy team in a 4v5 situation you should be rewarded with extra time to manage waves to kind of counteract this very unfair advantage.

Thoughts?

This can be abused. Say you have someone going 1/15. Tell them to DC and then your most worthless player now helps the team immensely by increasing enemy death timer.

Ah, true. Pity though cause it would really help a lot with AFKers. Although, asking that kind of thing should be a punishable offense and easily tracked via in game chat. If there could be a way to prevent that asking then it would be a viable thing. On the other-hand....is losing that 1/15 Yasuo really a bad thing? :P

Deathtimers are already a minute long late game. Longer death timers wouldnt feel good.
