The Lee Sin Q change makes him better vs champs, but worse vs objectives

When the bonus damage was 8% of missing target health that was better vs dragons and baron with their huge health pools.

You've shifted his strengths more towards assassinating champions and away from securing objectives. It's kind of a disappointing thing to see in the patch notes during a meta when champion burst is already too high.

This is the type of change that digs the hole deeper. This champ isn't competing as well as you'd like in the 1 shot meta, so you buff his ability to 1 shot instead of dealing with the underlying problem of 1 shots being too easy and common.

Yeah i would love to see this buff being reverted. This buff helped lethality Lee more than any other kind of Lee, which wasn't intended purpose of the buff Actually Lee is weaker vs Tanks now, which always were strong vs him, but now, he can't do anything vs them in late

I think actually if Lee is stacking AD he will hit tanks harder at all stages of the game.

If he has 300 bonus AD (I got 275 from an AD/pen build and added 25 for runes) then if he uses Resonating Strike on a target missing 80% hp the bonus damage will be 360. Last patch a target would have had to be missing 4500 health for that much bonus damage, so if that was with 80% missing health they'd have to have 5625 max health.

The math is similar if you look at any stage of the game. The buff to his Q just outpaced the fuck out of the old scaling. So it's just a buff vs champs in general aside from edge cases like a really fed Cho.

They can't possibly revert a Lee buff before Worlds. Who else will make the flashy plays that the announcers can fellate and lose their shit over as if they've never seen him before in the past 10 years of the game?

lol but seriously he'll get picked like once or twice in Worlds.

To that I say: GOOD. I've been tired of seeing him. It's high time he sat on the bench for a while.

I think as far as competitive play goes he's been on the bench for years. But he's popular in solo queue so we're still tired of him.

Good, the assassin/fighter/skirmisher/diver shouldn't be able to do anything vs tanks. Because he can do anything and everything against practically everyone else.

He isn't a dam tank buster, he's a squishy buster and that's how he should stay. Like every other assassin

He's a diver, he should be able to do SOME damage to tanks, but not too much. Look at J4. He can chip tanks with his q armor shred and passive %hp damage. Same with Vi and her w. Same with Camille and her Q2. Same with Kled and his W. Same with Xin Zhao and his ult.

Wouldn't say it was that helpful against objectives given that all jungle camps have innate %damage reduction against %damage sources. Also like most %health damage abilities, it has a limit on how much damage it can deal to a jungle camp as well.

If anything it's a healthy change because it means if you are a tank jungler playing against a lee sin, he won't be able to abuse his % health damage to kill you.

Objectives don't have innate damage reduction against % damage. Most % damage are capped vs objectives. That is a different thing.

And like I said, even vs tanks this is more dmg assuming he builds AD.

edit: I managed to find the cap it used to have. It was 455/485/515/545/575 which is much higher than the bonus dmg his current Q will ever deal. So yes he was definitely nerfed vs objectives.

i mean, its not like junglers have to farm their jungle anyways.

at this point theyre more busy ganking lanes than doing their own shit in the jungle.
