I've always really considered Mobis and Swifties very early to mid oriented options of boots and almost alwys value Merc Threads above all else.
But since I wanna supp more I summon Supp mains to talk me throught the options.

But if you are winning and you dont need to roam/place wards fast tabis and mercs are nice options. Lucidity boots are nice because they reduce your summoner spells for more exhausts

meowwow71 votesdepends on the enemy team comp and your play style you going tower divers like ali or leo tabi or if their team is mostly ad if you are a spell spammer such as zil ionian boots until you have 40-45% cdr with other items and then switch to sorcerer's

Erockandroll1 votesDepends on the support your playing. I personally have been leaning away from Lucidity boots when I know I will hit the CDR cap. Though it's pretty good if you really need that CDR early.
If your playing a Mage support, you might consider sorc shoes. (If you really want damage) Tank supports can probably go with either tabi or merc, (most likely mercs) or possibly Lucidity if you rely on your abilities for defense. Though for your more traditional supports swifies or Mobis is probably best if you can't stand the heat of battle.

Are they mostly skill shots and you can dodge most of them, but rely mostly on being in the "right spot at the right time" and not have to move much after you get there? Moba boots.
Do they have slows/can you dodge skill shots and dont want to lose the speed if you hit? Swifties.
Are you playing a tank and they have a lot of CC and magic damage? Merc.
Are you Zyra/Lux/Sona etc. and want to do a bit more damage because your adc is a numbskull? Sorc boots.
Lucidity boots may be helpful when the new runes come for extra stats based on over cdr amounts..... But often times you will have plenty of CDR items to get to max so then it is a decision for you....... Do you want to have the cdr maxed by boots rather than a CDR item..... And so you can go for an item with an active that could be better for that situation (Zzrot portal, sunfire cape, thornmail, etc)? If so then Lucidity may be the boots for you.
