Watching the Orn trailer makes me wish lore meant something in League.

I don't think any moba has found a good way to tell a story about its gameplay without it being too restrictive.

That's why "Riot Games" should have a meaning. (No I don't count mini games)

Riot should build lore of League of Legends to make a decent RPG game of LoL universe.

A game like league can't really have living lore. The game doesn't have expansions, nor does it have avenues in which the lore is developed in game. It has to rely on bios and stories to operate, and it's quite difficult to make it evolve and live like a traditional story.

Until Riot designs a X-Men Legends/Diablo style version of League, there can't be a way to make the lore grow.

Riot with their League of Legends has so much potential to branch off and actually become Riot Games but they never do. I've said that before. It is sad that none of this really grows out to anything other than E-sports....or and that minion-mech board game that I'm not too sure people will buy.

I just don't understand why the hell they haven't attempted to even try. Honestly, Is this really Riot games in the next couple of yrs? I can see this dying in a few yrs. Come on now.....Even though Riot can't really compared to Blizzard in terms of content, they can learn and eventually build their own...

To be fair Riot is doing an overhaul of the lores, updating them and adding short stories, but it's unlikely that direct conclusions to major plot points/events that fuel the champion's goals will be made, more stories leading up to events most likely will occur as Riot has said they'd be interested in continuing the short stories for the champs once all the champs are updated, just takes abit longer since it's so many. The universe is still in Beta
