RIOT: Bond of Stone + Warmog's Heart = PLEASE FIX

Warmog's Armor is a popular item among Health tanks. DrMundo Garen Malphite TahmKench Volibear (and more)

The Passive, Warmog's Heart, has a slight niche to it when the player utilizes Bond of Stone. The niche is pretty straight forward and quite obvious when you read the effects of both Warmog's and Bond of Stone.

Basically, Warmog's Heart activates once the champion hasn't taken any damage within the past 8 seconds. Bond of Stone redirects damage from your nearest ally to yourself. Pretty straight forward. Based on these conditions, it makes sense that Warmog's Heart won't activate as long as your ally is taking damage. However, this creates a strong niche in the use of Warmog's Armor.

I play ARAM, so I'm almost always near an ally. Can something be done to prevent redirected damage from Bond of Stone from resetting the cooldown on Warmog's Heart?

(also, on a side note- can you start considering ARAM in your patches?? You just bossed the f*** out of Fidd- that silence is too frequent.. but that's another topic...)

I hope you can make this change. I don't think two "complimentary" systems should be so conflicting like we see with Warmog's and Bond of Stone. Thanks!!

Sincerely, Eat Rammus Soup

Seems to be working as intended tho. Would be kinda powerful if it did work. Especially with Knights Vow also. You take 16% of their dmg and IMMEDIATELY regen it. OP plz nerf.

Okay- so if taking damage from Bond of Stone should prevent Warmog's Heart from activating, then why doesn't damage from Bond of Stone apply damage redirection from Thornmail? If I'm playing Rammus, and I use Bond of Stone and Thornmail then the damage I take for my ally should stack towards my damage redirection. But it doesn't. Based on how this damage is calculated for Warmog's Armor, you should expect it to behave the same for every item.

It's redirected as true damage. Thornmail only retaliates for physical auto attack damage.

Also, Imagine a Rammus support and an Ashe with Thornmail herself. Ouch.

Same thing with the Fearless mastery + Bond of Stone.

Pretty damn annoying, that.
