Why do champs that require NO/MINIMAL skill more rewarding than champs that need skill?

I'm just going to say it.

The mechanic skill needed to play a champion well in League is really really minimal compared to pretty much any other competitive video game genre, so this argument is a load of bullshit. The most important skills in League are on the tactics level, decision making, positioning, when to engage and when to fall back. Not how well you can land a skillshot.

Not that having to land a skillshot makes certain champions any less powerful.

I JUST got out of a game where I decided to do a Lux + Ez lane with my boyfriend for funsies.

We were up against Annie + Kallista.

Having similar scores, Annie outdamaged me on champions by 4k (she also outdamaged her top lane Kennen but considering he got shit on in lane, whatever).

Here's the kicker: I went full AP after Sightstone, even building mpen boots because BOOM bitch - she build full support with a late Zeke's being her only source of AP.

I'm AoE like her (actually I have more AoE). I have only 3 damage spells like her (perhaps more if you calculate Illumination). I am 100% skillshots. She isn't. Why the FUDGE is she even allowed to MATCH, let alone BEAT me in damage, not even taking into account that I was the only one to go AP?
